02:41 PM MovT: yea i can edit the vcp with qtdesigner but there are no options about the widget. i guess its enywhere in the code

06:08 PM Lcvette: zip the lips?
06:08 PM jthornton: where did you get it from
06:09 PM Lcvette: https://www.the-house.com/qfja3627515sbg18zz-fuji-bikes.html
06:09 PM jthornton: yea keep your mouth closed
06:09 PM Lcvette: and use coupon code extra10 for another 10% off
06:09 PM Lcvette: eat bugs?

06:09 PM Lcvette: :|
06:09 PM jthornton: if they are low calorie bugs yes
06:10 PM TurBoss: you have to play robotanks wit me
06:10 PM TurBoss: boooo
06:11 PM Lcvette: i bet you have some awesome trails where you are JT
06:11 PM Lcvette: TurBoss: robotanks?
06:11 PM Lcvette: :o
06:11 PM Lcvette: lcvette doesn't play video games
06:11 PM Lcvette: :(
06:11 PM jthornton: we have one a few miles away that has ~25 miles of trails
06:11 PM TurBoss: I don't only duel in rotobs
06:11 PM Lcvette: when he does he likes race car games
06:12 PM Lcvette: geez
06:12 PM jthornton: I love to ride it when the weather permits
06:12 PM Lcvette: thats a long trail system
06:12 PM Lcvette: my local one is about 5 minutes from me by car and is 9 miles
06:12 PM jthornton: go a bit further away and you can ride 200 miles of old railroad bed
06:12 PM Lcvette: there is another one 30 minutes away that is 8 miles but has alot of undulations
06:13 PM Lcvette: where is that JT?
06:13 PM Lcvette: oh where you are?
06:13 PM jthornton: yea about 50 miles from me
06:13 PM Lcvette: next time you are in NC bring your mtb
06:13 PM Lcvette: we can meet and ride!
06:15 PM jthornton: https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd581366.pdf
06:16 PM jthornton: I usually ride the perimeter but sometimes ride the blue trail too
06:17 PM jthornton: crooked branch is sure enough crooked
06:18 PM jthornton: I usually bail off of it where it gets close to the wolf creek trail and pp to avoid the boulders section
06:19 PM jthornton: the rear wheel shock would be a nice thing to have out here
06:23 PM Lcvette: is there alot of elevation changes?
06:23 PM jthornton: I ride for about 2-3 hours so I have a rear cargo bag
06:23 PM Lcvette: here at the beach there isn't much except the one about 45 minutes away has a bunch
06:23 PM jthornton: in some areas yes
06:25 PM jthornton: the trails for the most part follow the elevation of the ground but some areas have some pretty steep changes
06:26 PM jthornton: first thing I do is ditch the racing seat and put a comfort seat on my bikes
06:26 PM Lcvette: have a recommendation?
06:26 PM Lcvette: i need a soft seat for my big ass
06:26 PM jthornton: I'd have to see what I have on mine
06:27 PM jthornton: also riding pants with cushion seat
06:27 PM jthornton: are you going clipless or clips?
06:28 PM Lcvette: no clips.. at least not yet
06:28 PM Lcvette: seems like it would be a bit scary at first until i get in better shape and get super comfortable on the bike with flat pedals
06:28 PM jthornton: you have the clipless shoes?
06:29 PM jthornton: use the clips to get your feet in the correct position
06:29 PM jthornton: it's real important to get the seat height correct too
06:30 PM Lcvette: im ordering a dropper seat post
06:31 PM Lcvette: so i can change it on the fly
06:31 PM jthornton: link?
06:31 PM jthornton: ah you don't want to change it once you find the right height
06:31 PM Lcvette: https://www.amazon.com/Shock-Eten-Remote-Dropper-Seatpost-30-9mm/dp/B079P7Y149/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=dropper+seatpost&qid=1585092676&sr=8-5
06:31 PM jthornton: just bring a bike tool kit so you can make first ride adjustments
06:32 PM Lcvette: this is spring loaded and has a lever switch
06:32 PM Lcvette: can raise and lower without removing your hands from the bars
06:32 PM jthornton: oh more of a shock then
06:33 PM jthornton: once you find the right height you never need to change it unless your legs change length
06:33 PM Lcvette: but can set the full up position to the desired height then drop it when you want to do more technical riding
06:33 PM Lcvette: no it has a one way bearing in it and a spring
06:34 PM jthornton: time to retire for the night
06:35 PM Lcvette: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Okw_lXhGrmM
06:35 PM roguish[m]: jthornton: did you put the heat sinks on your RPi chips?
06:35 PM Lcvette: this shows it in action and great explanation

10:42 PM TurBoss: n8 tahnkyou
11:05 PM CaptHindsight: so how will one add these widgets if they wish to use them?
11:05 PM CaptHindsight: after installing qtypyvcp then git clone the https://github.com/kcjengr/qtpyvcp-computer-vision ?
11:06 PM CaptHindsight: and how about at runtime?
11:08 PM CaptHindsight: if you build a VCP using the computer vision widgets do you have to have the same repo installed?
