01:23 PM Lcvette: when i asked to speak to a manager they put me on the phone with someone different, when i told the "manager" i was calling bbt from another phone to confirm the report of fraulent chanrges they hung up

01:24 PM Lcvette: now days the onyl safe way is to contact your bank yourself after receiving word of fraudulent activity because the scammers have gotten quite clever

03:35 PM Lcvette: in disquise to "activating" your fraud alert text messages
03:35 PM Lcvette: they convince you it isn't active by telling asking if you received a text for a fraudulant charge
03:36 PM Lcvette: when you tell them you did not they say ok lets activate that for you
03:36 PM Lcvette: then they say we will send a test fraud charge, reply yes to0 it to activate text alerts
03:37 PM Lcvette: but from what the guy at bbt told me when i went in to the branch to discuss it, he said the scam is they then make a charge somewhere usually for a fairly large amount and when you receive the fraud text they trick you into saying yes so it goes through
