08:02 AM TurBoss: background ?
08:03 AM dremeier[m]: background , yes
08:04 AM dremeier[m]: backgraund or backgraund-color makes no changes
08:04 AM Lcvette: dremeier: yo
08:04 AM dremeier[m]: *edit:* ~~backgraund or backgraund-color makes no changes~~ -> background or background-color makes no changes
08:06 AM dremeier[m]: I tried also a ActionButton or QLabel, always the same

08:13 AM Lcvette: you are not formatting it properly
08:13 AM dremeier[m]: not here😩
08:13 AM Lcvette: it requires the full formatting
08:13 AM Lcvette: HalLabel {
08:13 AM Lcvette: }
08:14 AM Lcvette: also you are spelling background wrong
08:14 AM dremeier[m]: yes I did now ^^
08:14 AM Lcvette: your picture shows it spelled backgraund
08:15 AM dremeier[m]: yes now it works👌
08:15 AM Lcvette: easiest to copy the style sheet from another label for things like that and then just change the colors or border or text etc
08:15 AM Lcvette: that way yuopi avoid mistakes
08:15 AM Lcvette: * that way you avoid mistakes
08:16 AM dremeier[m]: what a shame
08:16 AM Lcvette: i found it is best to always use the full formatting so when style sheet changes are made they are easier to correct
08:17 AM dremeier[m]: now comes the expression, will see if it works that way

10:04 AM roguish[m]: do they form their own sheetmetal for their machines?
11:28 AM hazzy-m: No, they out source is to Rittal, but Rittal forms all the sheet metal on Schröder folders, so yes lol

11:32 AM hazzy-m: The enclosure for the AC unit itself is not made on a Schröder since they make make them in such larger volumes they have their own line, but the rest of the cabinet is. The stainless washdown rated version of the AC units are made on a Schröder though
11:33 AM hazzy-m: Rittal has 6 fully automated folders, and they ordered them painted Rittal pink lol

11:41 AM TurBoss: yes
11:42 AM Lcvette: with linuxcnc?
11:42 AM TurBoss: 2003 yes but not baby ones
11:42 AM TurBoss: whats baby
11:42 AM Lcvette: tyring to figure out how to wire, the board just has 1in, 2in, 3in, 4in and not labeled for step dir
11:42 AM TurBoss: ah
11:43 AM TurBoss: yo need a l293

11:45 AM TurBoss: i'm wrong
11:45 AM TurBoss: l297 + l293 or l298
11:46 AM TurBoss: that or a cheap pololu a4988
11:46 AM TurBoss: or something rewer

11:47 AM Lcvette: this is a tony gear motor stepper
11:47 AM Lcvette: 28BYJ-48
11:48 AM Lcvette: * this is a tiny gear motor stepper
11:48 AM Lcvette: lcvette think he is in over his head
11:48 AM Lcvette: lol
11:48 AM Lcvette: maybe i will redesign it with a nema 17 and normal drive

11:51 AM TurBoss: see the little pottentiomenter?
11:51 AM TurBoss: no need to redesign
11:51 AM TurBoss: thoos motors are fine
11:52 AM TurBoss: you on have to wire them in bipolar
11:52 AM TurBoss: * thoose motors are fine
11:52 AM Lcvette: would that drive be in my kit?
11:52 AM TurBoss: could be
11:53 AM dremeier[m]: better ist to take a tmc2130, no poti, if you like you can set up the drive via spi.
11:53 AM dremeier[m]: or tmc2100
11:54 AM dremeier[m]: *edit:* ~~better ist to take a tmc2130, no poti, if you like you can set up the drive via spi.~~ -> better is to take a tmc2130, no poti, if you like you can set up the drive via spi.
11:54 AM TurBoss: but should be drive but step dir signals
11:54 AM TurBoss: also checking that part
11:54 AM TurBoss: :)
11:54 AM dremeier[m]: is step/dir
11:54 AM dremeier[m]: i use them in my diy printer
11:54 AM TurBoss: oh Im blind
11:55 AM TurBoss: so is a setting stored inside?
11:55 AM TurBoss: adjusted by spi?

11:56 AM Lcvette: so when you guys have a definitive one i need let me know and i will order it
11:56 AM dremeier[m]: yes defaul values a stored. by spi you can setup a lot and ther are very quite, the motor will be driven quiter
11:57 AM dremeier[m]: how many amps dou you need?
11:59 AM TurBoss: its really low
11:59 AM TurBoss: 40mA

12:00 PM TurBoss: :)=
12:01 PM dremeier[m]: chris I guess you will drive the amp via lcnc? so I would start with a tmc 2208, ther is a poti where you can adjust the current. that should be fine enough
12:05 PM dremeier[m]: https://www.trinamic.com/products/integrated-circuits/details/tmc2208-la/
12:05 PM Lcvette: yeah easy to connect 4 wires to mesa 7i76?
12:05 PM dremeier[m]: so fine for your 5V motor, take that tmc2208
12:05 PM dremeier[m]: should be no problem
12:05 PM dremeier[m]: https://shop.watterott.com/SilentStepStick-TMC2208_1
12:07 PM TurBoss: because i have so mamy of a4988 unused and low money if not i'll bought some of thoose tmc2208
12:07 PM Lcvette: do they make it in a case?
12:07 PM Lcvette: that has screw temrinals?
12:07 PM Lcvette: lol
12:07 PM TurBoss: will need a little pcb with som ¿? borniers ¿?
12:08 PM TurBoss: that exist?
12:10 PM Lcvette: ok this got complicated wuicly
12:10 PM Lcvette: * ok this got complicated quickly
12:10 PM dremeier[m]: a never used the a4988 but i quess they will do the work as weöö but if you buy new ones better the tmc
12:10 PM Lcvette: think im gonna grab a nema17 motor and drive kit
12:10 PM TurBoss: sek i have some one arround
12:10 PM Lcvette: they are $19 shipped
12:11 PM dremeier[m]: you can solder some headers on a normal pcb and screw this pcb in your case

12:13 PM dremeier[m]: 👍
12:13 PM Lcvette: lcvette doesn't want to solder
12:13 PM Lcvette: he just wants the ease of scrw temrinals and easy mounting
12:14 PM Lcvette: gonna redesign for nema 17
12:14 PM Lcvette: :(

01:04 PM Lcvette: nice!
01:05 PM Lcvette: probe basic did need a status page update!
01:05 PM dremeier[m]: 😁 👍
01:08 PM dremeier[m]: just a smal question beside, how can i jump from step jog to continus jog?
01:23 PM Lcvette: add the word jog in the increment line in the ini\
01:24 PM Lcvette: INCREMENTS = JOG, 1.000, 0.100, 0.010, 0.001
01:24 PM Lcvette: a jog button will magically appear
01:33 PM Lcvette: dremeier: ^^^
01:33 PM Lcvette: the link you sent for the step motor drive says its for 12-24v but the motor is 5v
01:44 PM TurBoss: https://www.pololu.com/category/120/stepper-motor-drivers
01:45 PM TurBoss: there is a table
01:46 PM Lcvette: so not the other one?
01:46 PM Lcvette: tmc2208?
01:47 PM TurBoss: should be other models
01:47 PM Lcvette: i can't fit the nema17
01:47 PM Lcvette: :(

01:49 PM Lcvette: current adjustment?

02:35 PM Lcvette: it says 12-24v
02:36 PM dremeier[m]: becaus ist is for printer, but if you look at the data sheed it says from ~4,75 V to 36

02:36 PM Lcvette: ah ok
02:36 PM Lcvette: so do i need anything else with that?
02:37 PM dremeier[m]: the driver are nearly all the same
02:37 PM Lcvette: or just the motor, that drive, 5v ps, step+ step- dir+ dir- from lcnc
02:37 PM dremeier[m]: but take what ever you want it will work
