04:53 AM jthornton: morning
05:41 AM hazzy-m: Morning
11:55 AM hazzy-m: pnimbus: hello!
11:58 AM * hazzy-m is at ORD heading home
11:59 AM hazzy-m: Hurray!
11:59 AM hazzy-m: It's been a long two weeks
12:01 PM hazzy-m: They weren't able to get thru the trucks yesterday so had to load all 9 at 6am this morning. Those drivers made some pretty good cash waiting for 24hrs!
12:03 PM CaptHindsight: I'd like to know the total budget for the whole crew for the 2 weeks
12:05 PM CaptHindsight: I imagine one machine sold covers the cost of it
12:06 PM CaptHindsight: hazzy-m: any missing info at the border will be handled by the broker, the broker will get back to you if they need more info
12:08 PM hazzy-m: CaptHindsight: five techs worked about 50hrs of overtime over the two week set up / tear down period. Average pay is about $27/hr, so that gives you an idea of our labor cost
12:09 PM hazzy-m: booth cost including their labor is about $500k
12:09 PM hazzy-m: the booth labor included rigging etc.
12:10 PM hazzy-m: not the best riggers i've worked with ....
12:10 PM CaptHindsight: heh, but they were Union riggers
12:10 PM CaptHindsight: at least they didn't break anything
12:11 PM hazzy-m: hehe, they did!
12:11 PM CaptHindsight: oh no!
12:11 PM hazzy-m: ripped the front of one of the machines
12:11 PM CaptHindsight: with a forklift?
12:12 PM hazzy-m: I guess so, it happened sometime late thursday night
12:13 PM hazzy-m: non of our guys were there
12:13 PM CaptHindsight: how much damage in $ ?
12:13 PM hazzy-m: problem is that machine sold and was supposed to go directly to the customer, now we have to take it back to our showroom and repair it
12:13 PM CaptHindsight: oh great
12:14 PM CaptHindsight: insurance should cover it
12:14 PM hazzy-m: thankfully it was localized
12:14 PM CaptHindsight: but its still a delay
12:15 PM hazzy-m: I put in a claim for $45, probably only cost $15k to repair but then we have substantial extra shipping and rigging costs
12:16 PM CaptHindsight: of course
12:16 PM CaptHindsight: Atlanta, Chicago, Atlanta to customer
12:16 PM hazzy-m: and I was pissed so trying to get as much as I could lol
12:16 PM CaptHindsight: yeah
12:16 PM CaptHindsight: understandable
12:17 PM CaptHindsight: what would IBM charge for a front panel? :)
12:17 PM CaptHindsight: hidden damages as well
12:17 PM CaptHindsight: you pull the sheet metal off and you find other things tweaked out of place
12:18 PM CaptHindsight: it's a solid square machine until somebody drops it
12:19 PM CaptHindsight: for the reasons mentioned above lots of shows moved to Rosemont, IL, It's only 5 minutes from the airport
12:19 PM CaptHindsight: and no union labor for everything fees
12:19 PM hazzy-m: right, it ripped some wires out of the control panel and light curtain, so its possible that more is damaged
01:40 PM hazzy-m: virtual PathPilot machine: https://hub.pathpilot.com/
01:40 PM hazzy-m: pretty neat for seeing what they are up to
01:41 PM hazzy-m: check out the view options tab on the left side of the main screen
01:42 PM hazzy-m: that should be real easy to implement. just use separate actors for each tool like TurBoss did for the work coord systems
01:47 PM hazzy-m: TurBoss: looking at your work in notifications, looks fantastic!
06:45 PM * hazzy-m is finally home
06:53 PM jthornton: show is done?
07:36 PM hazzy-m: Yes, finally
08:41 PM TurBoss: hello!
08:53 PM Lcvette: hazzy: I don't see what you mean in the path pilot for the view options
08:53 PM Lcvette: <hazzy-m "Yes, finally"> TurBoss (@TurBoss:matrix.org): hola o/
08:53 PM TurBoss: lol
08:53 PM TurBoss: hello
08:55 PM Lcvette: I see it now
08:55 PM Lcvette: \o/
