04:34 AM Tom_L: you need to move the settings box up some too, it interferes with the bottom bar
04:34 AM rifraf: nice tom
04:34 AM rifraf: remove a little more from the bottom and will be easier to spin
04:38 AM rifraf: luckily i learned both systems at young age, and seem to keep getting jobs where i need to use both
05:45 AM rifraf: when you want a new apk can make one, stable code at moment
05:58 AM Tom_L: ok
06:01 AM rifraf: just updated same filename on server, if you need new link let me know
06:02 AM rifraf: https://desire3d.com/images/public/vibesensing.apk
06:42 AM Tom_L: got it. i'll look later
06:45 AM Tom_L: text still needs work
06:47 AM Tom_L: screen shot later... gotta run
03:14 PM Tom_L: rifraf, can't get to the buttons or settings now: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/rifraf/screen_too_big.jpg
03:15 PM Tom_L: doesn't scroll up to the settings like it did
03:25 PM rifraf: yep i stopped the scrolling and removed settings
03:26 PM rifraf: but can see still a little long for your screen
03:27 PM Tom_L: where did the settings go?
03:27 PM rifraf: can you try turn down your fonts size a little looks so much bigger on your screenshot
03:28 PM rifraf: making a separate page for settings, currently a bit broken though, first time making 2 page app
03:29 PM rifraf: for now settings not needed, have impletmented a good RPM default range in that version
03:30 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:443/~webpage/rifraf/small_font.jpg
03:30 PM Tom_L: smallest font
03:32 PM rifraf: ok, is your vibe level active before you press start button?
03:32 PM rifraf: is meant to be but not working on mine
03:33 PM rifraf: same thing, e: file:///C:/Users/Isha/AndroidStudioProjects/VibeSensing/app/src/main/java/com/example/VibeSensing/MainActivity.kt:36:33 Unresolved reference 'ActivityResultContracts'.
03:33 PM rifraf: woops, your are not my bot
03:59 PM aandrew: I'm really kind of enamored with this "use HDMI capture for high speed data acquisition" idea. it's novel and it's easy to get hardware. it also looks like the RK3588's HDMI input might be able to support a similar function and can capture 4k@60fps
04:00 PM aandrew: the built-in I2C interface (DDC) is also super handy for out of band signalling
04:17 PM Tom_L: vibe isn't active until start
04:20 PM Tom_L: i'm not so sure how accurate the rpm is either
04:20 PM Tom_L: starts with one number then jumps to a higher one
07:29 PM rue_mohr: ok, I have some time off
07:30 PM Tom_L: me too until tomorrow morning
