04:04 PM aandrew: before I drove down here I installed two 1/0 cables and a cat5 cable from the engine compartment near the battery to the trunk, with 6' of wire coiled up at each end
04:04 PM aandrew: the idea was to have a clean high current source of power and signals somewhere infinitely more accessible than the engine bay
04:06 PM aandrew: fused at the battery side ofc, cat5 would carry probably 2 or 3 CAN busses (at least two but not sure what else)
