11:34 AM aandrew: I probably would have over-engineered it with two threaded aluminum "rings" that screw into each other, clamping the sprocket, or perhaps same two rings idea but with machine screws doing the clamping

02:16 PM rue_mohr: yes, I make the mold for the hub, and then place the sprocket between the halves.

02:37 PM aandrew: do you do anything to the sprocket to try to increase the bond strength between the alu and steel? I mean degrease is probably a given but beyond that
