02:34 AM polprog: host is nvidia Jetson TX2, target is our microsemi FPGA, we are using their IP cores
02:34 AM polprog: but we cannot narrow down if it's the jetson, the fpga or our PCB at fault
02:34 AM polprog: since the jetson only detects x1 cards so far, it should detect x4 cards but the only x4 cards we have at hand are some self made ones, so they might not work with jetson's strange PCIe (they work with a regular PC)
06:15 AM polprog: refclk appears 10 sec after clkreq#, the first one is asserted on power up, the clock appears once linux boots up and starts probing the bus

09:40 PM Tom_L: rebooted and logged in as root and that worked but the group is messed up and no gui for that user
