09:49 AM polprog: rue_mohr: hm, i have a feeling you are right
10:01 AM polprog: aandrew: I had no idea these hantek scopes run on these ancient Samsung ARMs
10:01 AM polprog: aandrew: tell me more about that SBC
09:46 PM rue_shop3: I see what it is, its hard to think alone
09:49 PM Tom_L: gawd what a mess
09:51 PM Tom_L: had to upgrade a rpi os because a package isn't available in buster but it appears all the os i've tried are 64bit and the whole purpose is to have a 32bit os
09:51 PM Tom_L: even the rpi os that say they're 32bit show up as 64
09:53 PM Tom_L: and now all my public keys don't let me connect to git
09:53 PM Tom_L: i forgot how i did that before
09:59 PM rue_mohr: you can get git to generate the private key and you put it in a file somewerhe
10:00 PM Tom_L: i did all that
10:01 PM Tom_L: and copied the pub key over to github
10:01 PM Tom_L: goes in .ssh
10:01 PM Tom_L: but instead of recognizing the key, it keeps asking for username / password
10:02 PM Tom_L: which doesn't work for this
10:03 PM rue_shop3: then something deosn't align
10:03 PM rue_shop3: did you put it in the home of the wrong user?
10:04 PM Tom_L: no
10:04 PM Tom_L: there was some odd way of accessing it with ssh and i can't seem to recall exactly what it was
10:09 PM Tom_L: there's also a 'known_hosts' file that should have git in it
10:19 PM Tom_L: i'll work it out later.
