03:45 PM polprog: it's an oscillator, and then a mixer mixes in audio from the computer

03:52 PM rue_shop2: for the cnc spindle I have some code that measures speed
03:53 PM rue_shop2: and I'm pondering using it in reverse to regulate the speed of a stepper
03:53 PM rue_shop2: basically I get a a measurement stream, and if the rpm is too low, I step the motor again
03:53 PM rue_shop2: the cnc works with an optic interrupter
03:54 PM rue_shop2: this would use the step event instead
