08:05 AM rue_mohr: polprog, aandrew you awake?
08:17 AM rue_mohr: The world is going to scrap markdown as a mistake
08:19 AM rue_mohr: I'm gradually starting to hate markdown
08:19 AM rue_mohr: https://github.com/ruenahcmohr/OneBit
08:20 AM rue_mohr: back in 1990 we invented WYSIWYG, where you could make something look like you wanted right there as you created it.
12:03 PM WormFood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvl_KYif9zA Hand soldering training film, from 1944....things sure have changed
12:04 PM WormFood: ....and some things haven't changed at all
01:54 PM polprog: im a bit sick
01:54 PM polprog: hey WormFood, did you see the .txt i posted?
06:18 PM rue_mohr: cool
06:37 PM rue_mohr: they would freak if they saw how we use solder to hold things mechanically these days
07:26 PM WormFood: polprog I've taken a look at your .txt and schematics. Why do you think the VCO is being doubled? That would be rather unusual. The radios I'm familiar with mix the VCO with the 15 Mhz, generated by the 10.240 xtal (10.24/2)*3.
07:27 PM WormFood: Usually the VCO will be running around 10-11 MHz, so whem mixed with the 15 MHz, will give you 27 MHz
07:27 PM WormFood: Can you show the math, for how the different frequencies.
07:28 PM WormFood: er....you know what I mean.
09:08 PM aandrew: rue_mohr: yes
09:09 PM aandrew: "Completely stack overflow protected, by not having a stack."
09:09 PM aandrew: lol
09:11 PM aandrew: wow you've really put the effort into documentation, very well done my friend
09:37 PM rue_mohr: I am still wrestling with the markdown tho eh?
09:56 PM WormFood: hhhmmm....I was invited to Amazon Vine....weird, since I don't think I've written 1/2 dozen reviews.
10:26 PM aandrew: I like markdown
10:26 PM aandrew: it's not perfect but for basic stuff it's pretty good
11:01 PM rue_shop5: well I'd love an interactive hand on fixing up that doc
