09:43 PM Tom_L: 11 seems the goto right now
09:43 PM Tom_L: what's the difference?
09:44 PM Tom_L: i've heard of lilo but know nothing about it
09:44 PM rue_mohr: grub has a bunch of useless tools in it
09:44 PM Tom_L: what's better about it?
09:44 PM rue_mohr: grub is mostly used for booting windows on a linux system
09:44 PM Tom_L: is formatting the same?
09:45 PM rue_mohr: they both just pass off to other bootloaders
09:45 PM rue_mohr: well, ok no
09:45 PM Tom_L: lilo won't read windows?
09:45 PM rue_mohr: lilo wont do that new windows crap
09:45 PM Tom_L: hmm
09:45 PM rue_mohr: with the protected encrypted junk
09:45 PM rue_mohr: lilo is good when you just want to load a linux kernel and run it
09:46 PM rue_mohr: I do not do split boot

10:02 PM rue_mohr: next I have to diagnose the EGR
10:02 PM Tom_L: i had a bad connection on the temp sensor on the water that would cause it to run bad
10:02 PM rue_mohr: its not stuck, but it looks like the computer is always holding it open
10:02 PM rue_mohr: yea, its got new temp sensors
