07:02 PM aandrew: concerned about spending $$$ on an old scope but it seems to be a solid design, treated well and the only significant cause for concern is that the proprietary trigger ICs seem to have poor thermal dissipation and tend to go bad
07:02 PM aandrew: since they're some tek-specific ASIC they're unobtanium, but if they haven't been cooked yet it's trivial to add small heat sinks and eliminate the issue entirely
