12:05 AM rue_mohr: Tom_L, do you know where that ise/device support matrix was from?
01:43 AM rue_shop2: maybe I have to get a large drive and download ALL the webpacks and just go thru them...
04:34 AM Tom_L: https://www.xilinx.com/search/site-keyword-search.html#q=ise%20webpack&firstQueryCause=omniboxFromLink&firstQueryMeta={%22partialQueries%22:%22w%3Bwe%3Bweb%3Bwebp%22%20,%20%22suggestionRanking%22:1%20,%20%22suggestions%22:%22xilinx%20ise%20webpack%3Bise%20webpack%3Bwebpack%3Bvivado%20webpack%3Bvivado%20hl%20webpack%20edition%22%20,%20%22partialQuery%22:%22webp%22%20,%20%22JSUIVersion%22:%222.10101.0%3B2.10101.0%22}
04:34 AM Tom_L: try 9
04:35 AM Tom_L: or maybe something earlier than that
04:37 AM rue_mohr: turns out these are spartain 1
04:37 AM rue_mohr: looks like I'll have to go to 4.2
04:40 AM Tom_L: yeah i think that was it for 1
04:41 AM Tom_L: i thought you had that already
04:43 AM Tom_L: somewhere back there was windows only
07:38 AM rue_mohr: well it supports solaris and HP-ux
09:02 AM rue_mohr: polprog, galasm
09:02 AM rue_mohr: make && make upload file=hello.ujed
09:02 AM rue_mohr: the makefile doesn't have an upload, did you have another makefile?
09:03 AM rue_mohr: looks like make all does the install
09:17 AM rue_mohr: huh, I have some of the source code to "Leap ate an olive" on my machine still...
09:18 AM rue_mohr: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdzD3_zVJY8
09:18 AM rue_mohr: scary, I think I coded that page..
09:19 AM rue_mohr: LAO_0809_A1.gas
09:19 AM rue_mohr: LAO_0809_A1.m
09:19 AM rue_mohr: LAO_0809_T1.gas
09:19 AM rue_mohr: LAO_0809_T1.m
09:21 AM rue_mohr: ok I wonder what version the stuff I did came out as..
09:21 AM rue_mohr: I wonder who ported what
09:22 AM rue_mohr: leap at olives, and there is another one
09:22 AM rue_mohr: is5, I'm not sure what that was
09:24 AM polprog: rue_mohr: maybe i uploaded an old makefile
09:24 AM polprog: the upload target just runs minipro
09:25 AM rue_mohr: yea, I presume the make run example and makfile are from you but there is no upload
09:25 AM aandrew: heh what was the gal in the leapmotion doing
09:25 AM rue_mohr: version mismatch
09:26 AM rue_mohr: aandrew, no no, I was looking for gal source and found the leap directory
09:26 AM rue_mohr: I wonder if I still ahve the compilers around somewhere
09:27 AM aandrew: how did you happen upon the source for the leappad book things
09:27 AM rue_mohr: I coded it
09:27 AM aandrew: we had one or two, the "global position" was more interesting than the books ever were for my kids
09:27 AM aandrew: you wrote the leap stuff?
09:27 AM rue_mohr: I worked on leap ate olives
09:28 AM rue_mohr: not sure who else was working on it, my name was in all the random files I opened
09:28 AM rue_mohr: yea
09:28 AM rue_mohr: its not coding coding, you wrote heaps of config stuff and their system put it togethor
09:30 AM rue_mohr: if you see a pack for leap ate olives, look for a "Basis Applied Technologies" in fine print somewhere
09:31 AM rue_mohr: huh I cant find the gal stuff
09:33 AM aandrew: that's pretty cool
09:33 AM rue_mohr: "]
09:33 AM rue_mohr: :]
09:33 AM aandrew: I can tell my kids that I know the guy who worked on the leappad
09:33 AM rue_mohr: also did "madeline math" and "littlebear.... hmm... uh...
09:34 AM rue_mohr: https://archive.org/details/Madmath
09:34 AM rue_mohr: that one I thnk
09:34 AM aandrew: that's pretty cool, how'd you get into that
09:34 AM rue_mohr: https://www.superkids.com/aweb/pages/reviews/math/5/mmath12/shapes.jpg
09:34 AM aandrew: I find the origin stories are always interesting
09:35 AM rue_mohr: Dave did that game, had a HELL of a time with it
09:35 AM aandrew: dave, like WormFood?
09:35 AM rue_mohr: no
09:35 AM rue_mohr: not on irc
09:38 AM rue_mohr: oh I have
09:39 AM rue_mohr: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/tempimage/p1270559.jpg
09:39 AM rue_mohr: those are the two disc based softwares I was involved with
09:40 AM rue_mohr: the project after those two was a pokemon one, but it ran into problems, the contract holder sold, and sony wouldn't transfer rights, then .com crash happened and all the money got pulled out of everything
09:41 AM rue_mohr: if you come across "pokemon trader cd's" supposedly some of my code is still in it somewhere
09:41 AM rue_mohr: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/p6kAAOSwzVdfySOw/s-l1600.jpg
09:42 AM rue_mohr: I have a mewtwo somewhere...
06:27 PM Tom_L: still not quite there https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Oqihu1sRmYU
06:27 PM Tom_L: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XAoWTIGswPk
06:56 PM rue_mohr: why do the encoder indicators go red?
06:58 PM rue_mohr: whats the spindle doing when you run it?
06:59 PM Tom_L: the capture can't keep up with the encoders but they alternate
06:59 PM rue_mohr: ok how much does the spindle rotate when you run it?
07:00 PM rue_mohr: more or less than a turn
07:00 PM Tom_L: for the initial index, i run it a couple turns to get the first pulse
07:00 PM rue_mohr: I noticed the poserr go from 113 to -240
07:00 PM Tom_L: then orient is supposed to turn it but it doesn't
07:00 PM Tom_L: not using that signal
07:01 PM Tom_L: on the M6 one, it doesn't turn
07:02 PM Tom_L: driving code for the 1st one: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/cnc/configs/NEW_MILL_ORIENT/spindle-index.ngc
07:02 PM Tom_L: driving code for the 2nd one: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/cnc/configs/NEW_MILL_ORIENT/change.ngc
07:03 PM Tom_L: something isn't getting enabled or something
07:04 PM rue_mohr: hmm
07:05 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/cnc/configs/orient_test/orient_test_toolchange.png
07:05 PM Tom_L: better list of the pins
07:05 PM Tom_L: i may have added a couple
07:06 PM Tom_L: spindle.0.index-enable is bidirectional
