01:44 AM rue_mohr: MoonyMoon, you online?
03:33 AM rue_shop1: I was going to sit down and get something done today, but its too late, its tommorow
05:44 AM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
06:19 AM polprog: im trying to get a HP8922H test set
06:19 AM polprog: ultimate radio test kit
01:53 PM aandrew: WormFood> I'm sure the pinout follows *some* standard, but who knows what?
01:54 PM aandrew: take pics? do you know what it came out of?
01:54 PM aandrew: merry christmas everyone
01:56 PM aandrew: I've been graphing the water consumption of my tree: https://ibb.co/0Vr78Lr
01:57 PM aandrew: ultrasonic sensor facing the water reservoir and a float switch as a backup. as you can see the ultrasonic sensor is fairly unreliable and that's *after* trying several different ways to stablize it
01:59 PM aandrew: watching the turkey too, unfortunately third party tool and it's in 1/10C and the tool isn't great for graphing
01:59 PM aandrew: https://ibb.co/pL1Z3X2
02:04 PM WormFood: aandrew, I can take pics of it. It's a 2560x1600 8.9" display, that was used in the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 3rd Gen tablet. It's got a cracked glass, and broken touch screen, but the display is still good.
06:00 PM rue_mohr: aandrew, do you have a horn on the ultrasonic sensor?
06:00 PM rue_mohr: looks pretty steady, cool
06:04 PM aandrew: rue_mohr: horn? it's just a regular old HC-S04 or whatever
06:05 PM rue_mohr: industrial units have the transciever in a tube
06:05 PM rue_mohr: not a fancy tube, acts like a mask
06:05 PM rue_mohr: even they are as flakey as all hell
06:06 PM aandrew: WormFood: http://myosuploads3.banggood.com/products/20181112/20181112023915TFTMD089030171012.pdf ?
06:13 PM rue_mohr: are they turning the bus drivers off a lot during the communicatons?
06:13 PM rue_mohr: is that what all the blue is?
06:14 PM rue_mohr: I thought these usually just took a stream of pixels at the "same" refresh rate as a video monitor
06:14 PM rue_mohr: but digitized
06:15 PM rue_mohr: heh, I'm still not clear if the 4 channels are completely independent or if each byte is composed with all of them somehow
06:20 PM WormFood: aandrew, at a glance, that looks like it. I'll dig into it a little more to confirm, but the physical drawings match mine 100%.
06:22 PM rue_mohr: it might be more valuable to use knowledge of which protocol it is to get the right adatper
06:23 PM rue_mohr: it looks to me tho like this is for rendering managers rather than video players
10:27 PM MoonyMoon: Hey RUE rue_mohr !
10:27 PM MoonyMoon: rue_shop1,
10:28 PM MoonyMoon: Never mind :D
10:28 PM MoonyMoon: got it ;)
10:36 PM rue_mohr: hah
10:36 PM rue_mohr: what was it?
11:38 PM MoonyMoon: a web page I had open on your shop machine.
11:38 PM MoonyMoon: rue_mohr, you around agian?
