03:17 AM Tom_L: grub
07:09 AM polprog: rue_mohr: write what? i said i could scan the nice parts of that book for you
07:25 AM polprog: gf got an OSSC which was slowly dying, turns out the audio coder IC is probably broken and was shoring out the power rails more and more
07:25 AM polprog: we will see if it wakes up when we desolder it huh
07:25 AM polprog: dont need the audio anyways
10:14 AM rue_mohr: OSSC?
01:43 PM Tom_L: Open Source Scan Converter
02:05 PM rue_shop3: oh
08:02 PM rue_mohr: we3ll, lots of yard cleanup
09:25 PM rue_mohr: cat stay AWKE
09:58 PM Tom_L: rue_mohr, STAY AWAKE!
11:36 PM rue_mohr: so
11:36 PM rue_mohr: the motor on the cnc will be AC120
11:36 PM rue_mohr: with rectifiers to make them directional
11:36 PM rue_mohr: I'm going to try using a computer power supply as a high voltage source
11:37 PM rue_mohr: pull the +-170VDC off the mains capacitors
11:37 PM rue_mohr: I plan to switch it with an IGBT
11:37 PM rue_mohr: and I have some fancy opto-isolated IGBT drivers
11:38 PM rue_mohr: they need a 15V supply to drive it, so I'v designed a power supply that can feed them 100mA at 15V, isolated
11:38 PM rue_mohr: I need to solder the supply togethor and make sure it still works
11:39 PM rue_mohr: then set up a motor with +-12V and do a basic check and make sure it all works
