12:33 AM rue_mohr: I wonder if I could put a threaded in brass tip without taking it all apart
12:42 AM rue_mohr: I want to work ont eh 4x8 cnc
12:42 AM rue_mohr: not sure how to proceed
12:42 AM rue_mohr: its supposed to be a "just do it" machine
02:31 AM rue_mohr: 2618
02:31 AM rue_mohr: oh I thought it went down
02:32 AM rue_mohr: huh
05:06 AM Tom_L: .
11:39 AM WormFood: For a month, my eprom has been sitting under these UVA LEDs...still will not completely erase the EPROM. Just like the other ones, it sits about 100 or so bits away from being totally erased.
12:43 PM rue_mohr: interesting
12:43 PM rue_mohr: so, if the bits were redundant enough...
01:09 PM rue_mohr: ok, lovin this sunlight from the mirror
03:19 PM Tom_L: rue_mohr, drive north & south
03:19 PM rue_mohr: heh
03:20 PM rue_mohr: my room is on the north side of the house
03:20 PM Tom_L: move the mirror?
03:20 PM rue_mohr: its motorized!
03:21 PM rue_mohr: with a wifi connection and a control webpage
03:21 PM Tom_L: programmed to stay in rue_mohr's eyes
03:21 PM rue_mohr: I'm still working out the aiming table
03:21 PM rue_mohr: I can hit the greenhouse too
03:22 PM Tom_L: get a bunch more and focus them on one spot
03:22 PM rue_mohr: :)
03:22 PM rue_mohr: or bounce between them
03:22 PM rue_mohr: so,
03:23 PM rue_mohr: if I modify the nozzle on the injector I might permanently mess it up
03:23 PM rue_mohr: it was made on the lathe and TIG'd in
03:24 PM Tom_L: there are more
03:24 PM rue_mohr: its borred out
03:24 PM Tom_L: where did you get the tube?
03:24 PM rue_mohr: there is a lot of work in it
03:24 PM Tom_L: yeah yeah
03:24 PM rue_mohr: out of a pile, it COULD have been the last piece
03:24 PM Tom_L: i've never wasted time
03:24 PM rue_mohr: heh
03:24 PM rue_mohr: I'm trying to think of a safe way to go forward
03:24 PM Tom_L: but if i did i certainly remembered why
03:24 PM rue_mohr: the swing arm is great
03:25 PM Tom_L: make a new threaded tube with brass screw in nozzles
03:25 PM rue_mohr: I realized I can use hard drive magnets to hold it to the drillpress too, no pipe clamps
03:25 PM Tom_L: you still got 1 clean end of tube you can screw up
03:26 PM Tom_L: my lathe isn't good enough for that i doubt
03:26 PM rue_mohr: maybe I should make a new backpressure nozzel first
03:27 PM Tom_L: i didn't quite follow all those designs
03:27 PM rue_mohr: right now I'm turning those cylinder ends I cast
03:27 PM rue_mohr: no, lots of those diagrams were bad
03:29 PM Tom_L: the one with the <>==| looked interesting
03:29 PM Tom_L: with the spring on the |
03:33 PM Tom_L: you know how those brass well check valves work?
03:33 PM Tom_L: something like that
03:33 PM Tom_L: only need a spring instead of gravity
03:42 PM rue_mohr: damn castings are full of bubbles
03:42 PM rue_mohr: Tom_L, I'm just thinking a ball and spring
03:42 PM rue_mohr: a tiny bit of backpressure should do
03:42 PM Tom_L: ok
03:43 PM Tom_L: what keeps the ball centered yet lets enough goo pass by?
04:34 PM rue_mohr: --> flow <oW
04:35 PM rue_mohr: only sits in the seat one way
04:35 PM rue_mohr: but more importantly generates a bit of backpressure
