02:49 PM miss0r: I actualy had it working, with a primitive loose wire dangling solution for testing. Then I went ahead and turned a nice coil former, to add the secondary and primary winding on it. now that both secondary and primary winding are located on "the same side" on the ferrite core, my mosfet gate driver goes tits up every time I switch from the bench powersupply limited at 5 amps to a battery, which is not limited at 5 amps.
02:50 PM miss0r: even though I've repeated this test with the program limiting the power draw to 4 amps, which is verified by testing with the bench psu first. For some odd reason the pull-down part of the gate driver decides not to pull down anymore
