08:29 AM rue_bed2: getting colder here again
08:29 AM Tom_L: it was in the 60's yesterday
08:29 AM rue_bed2: I pulled a muscle in my hand again yesterday turning a fire shutoff valve
08:29 AM rue_bed2: the stupid things can be really hard to close
08:29 AM Tom_L: yeah they never get moved
08:29 AM rue_bed2: oh we do them every year
08:29 AM Tom_L: that's about it though
08:29 AM rue_bed2: yep
08:59 AM rue_mohr: about 4 months ago, they changed the garbage day
08:59 AM rue_mohr: I need to reprogram my mornin alarm
03:26 PM Tom_L: with nothing to do, i modded A9-10 3cm longer so if that's acceptable i have a program ready
04:07 PM Tom_L: estimated run time 12min 30sec
08:23 PM rue_mohr: we did up some heads with your latch handles, some of them, I'm not sure how, dont have the back cut deep enouch
08:23 PM rue_mohr: but I'm using the same jig here and the ones I did are ok
08:23 PM rue_mohr: ????
08:24 PM rue_mohr: and the the fellow making them somehow grabbed a bunch of the wrong screws for the handle (they were machine screws...)
08:29 PM Tom_L: back?
08:30 PM Tom_L: oh the latch.. i sent all i had and a few may have varied some
08:31 PM Tom_L: i figured rather than tossing them, see if they could be fixed
08:31 PM Tom_L: the slot not deep enough?
08:32 PM Tom_L: if you don't wanna mod them, toss em
08:33 PM rue_mohr: the back slot, the long edge one is ok
08:33 PM rue_mohr: its a bit hit and miss buty we didn't notice and it was a surprise
08:33 PM Tom_L: sry i should have warned ya
08:33 PM rue_mohr: np, they looked good to us!
08:34 PM Tom_L: can you tell if they were cut with the woodruff cutter?
08:34 PM Tom_L: i may have had some there that were cut with the first jig and a .125 em
08:34 PM rue_mohr: didn't you do them all with it?
08:34 PM rue_mohr: oh wait I think you did change
08:34 PM Tom_L: i'm not sure
08:34 PM rue_mohr: hah
08:34 PM Tom_L: pretty sure the ones with the woodruff cut are ok
08:35 PM Tom_L: i did finish that mod to A9 for the heck of it
08:35 PM Tom_L: saved the old one as well
08:36 PM Tom_L: and if i cut my material down the middle i can get 2 per instead of one
08:36 PM rue_mohr: I'm out of time again
08:36 PM Tom_L: i made the material bloc a bit smaller
08:36 PM rue_mohr: I need to go to sleep
08:36 PM rue_mohr: having a bowl of noodles for supper :/
08:36 PM Tom_L: better than a kick in the pants
08:37 PM Tom_L: this post is frustrating me
08:37 PM rue_mohr: I hate not ebing abel to keep up with life
08:37 PM Tom_L: they have user variables #S0..#SX
08:37 PM Tom_L: i'm using #S0 to output a txt line and right below that #S1 to output another
08:38 PM Tom_L: #S1 never gets evaluated
08:38 PM Tom_L: pissing me off because it should work
08:39 PM Tom_L: that way i can add notes to the Gcode to help me remember the setup
08:40 PM Tom_L: ie block size, zero reference etc
10:11 PM BloodMoon: I pooped!
10:15 PM Tom_L: i'm amazed
