05:55 AM rue_bed: he knew his way around everything and we did this crazy off-the-cuff trip to australia where he just went around all the tills and checks
05:56 AM rue_bed: I didn't want to stay long cause I had to get back to work, but met this securrity agent that helped me get back to the airport
05:57 AM rue_bed: but the till didn't want to let me thru till I'd scheduled my flight via a phone number that wasn't posted, and I couldn't use a pay phone cause all I had was canadian change
05:57 AM rue_bed: and this lawyer with some convicts was getting ahead of me in line (long line)
05:58 AM rue_bed: we were all wiating for plane staff who were being WAY TOO slow to start getting people set up for the plane trip
05:58 AM rue_bed: while in australia I was collecting tree seeds
05:59 AM rue_bed: there was a church that had some abandoned cooling system used for gardening
06:01 AM rue_bed: huh, it bumps a number of other dream memories up too
06:03 AM rue_mohr: on the trip in, he got us around allt he stuff to get us on the plane, but in the process we didn't end up with any meal tickets
06:03 AM rue_mohr: but during the ride I found a strip of metalic blue tickets, which turned out to be first class meal tickets
06:04 AM rue_mohr: so we had all sorts of fancy stuff, but I ended up with shrimp rice, didn't like the shrimp
06:46 AM rue_mohr: if I have time, I need too start working on moving the knock switch for the desk light to the new light

08:05 AM rue_mohr: I made a bad choice of materials for part of the check valve
08:05 AM rue_mohr: (they were all bad, but only one actually failed)
09:16 AM rue_mohr: I fixed up a pcb from work, from an emergency lighting unit that didn't work, turns out it was just a capacitor

09:01 PM Tom_L: he'd been layed off 2x in machining due to covid so decided to go back and get another trade since some govt covid relief paid for it
