07:25 PM Tom_L: if i run a faster clock speed on the cpu do i need faster ram? or will the bios adjust for that?

07:28 PM Tom_L: i found one and plan to swap it out on my main board since it's a better i5 than the one that's in it and move the one that's in it to the spare board

07:33 PM Tom_L: so i did my google research and figured out what will and won't support it

07:35 PM Tom_L: not a change really just want to utilize that board that is sitting on the shelf
07:35 PM Tom_L: my kid wanted to do some cad stuff and i was using my main pc so i drug that board out and fired it up on the desk for him (no case)

10:32 PM Tom_L: it's got the i7 in it now and i tried to install it on another blank ssd and it wouldn't let me
