11:16 AM Tom_L: rue_mohr, done many bottle tests with your new equipment?
07:11 PM rue_mohr: just class A
07:11 PM rue_mohr: just two
07:11 PM Tom_L: looking into revising A12 fixture :)
07:12 PM rue_mohr: heh
07:12 PM rue_mohr: If I can stay awake I'm going to cast #3
07:12 PM Tom_L: not much goin on today
07:12 PM Tom_L: yeah go for it!
07:13 PM Tom_L: how long does it take to heat the pot?
07:13 PM rue_mohr: a bit longer than setting up the mold
07:13 PM Tom_L: so you start that while doing the mold
07:15 PM rue_mohr: yup
08:03 PM Tom_L: well i did find a cutter
08:10 PM Tom_itx: https://www.grainger.com/product/KEO-Narrow-Keyseat-Cutter-33UW81
08:10 PM Tom_L: needed at least .320" depth of cut
08:18 PM Tom_L: probably not worth that
08:38 PM Tom_L: ok found the old visejaws for the sherline vise
08:43 PM aandrew: hm
08:46 PM aandrew: line sensor can spit out data at 8MHz, using all three ADCs I can hit 7.2Msps, if I limit to 8bit that's 7.2MByte/sec. I've only got 320kByte of memory, but if I can spit shit out 100Mbit ethernet I might be able to keep up
08:53 PM aandrew: UDP header is 8 bytes, IP header is 20 bytes, ethernet overhead is 18 bytes, so that's 46 bytes overhead, I think the actual data rate of 100Mbit is 10MByte/sec so the overhead doesn't affect me at any rate
08:58 PM aandrew: 10MByte/sec, 7.2MByte/sec max data rate... h
08:58 PM aandrew: hm
