12:01 AM rue_mohr: polprog, polprog my chineese 22V10 arrived! (10 pcd)
12:07 AM rue_mohr: polprog, polprog my chineese 22V10 arrived! (10 pcs)
01:20 AM rue_bed: if a neural networks operation is viewed as a filter, it must be a type of IIR filter
01:22 AM rue_bed: see but the current implementation of a NN is nonally lacking feedback, but its unipolar
01:23 AM rue_bed: well, unigrain
01:24 AM rue_bed: so, we have only really worked out the forward transform of a NN

01:42 AM rue_bed: there may be only 1 self-tuning filter that I'm aware of
02:24 AM polprog: oh, nice, 22v10
04:05 AM Tom_L: rue_bed, the flange on the pullies
11:37 AM TermMoon: hay rue_mohr !
12:40 PM rue_mohr: hey
12:40 PM rue_mohr: 10:30, ok whats the word up to
12:50 PM polprog: hi rue
12:51 PM polprog: so youve seen manawyrms hack
12:51 PM polprog: are you gonna tell him about your tool :p?
12:51 PM rue_mohr: the rom?
12:51 PM rue_mohr: I could, but I'd like to know what method he used :)
01:00 PM polprog: he replied
01:00 PM polprog: he did it by hand :d
01:00 PM rue_mohr: I'm still catching up with the main stream from last night
01:01 PM polprog: ahh
01:01 PM rue_mohr: 20 notifications...
01:10 PM polprog: hmm, my lora transceivers are stuck in chicago
01:11 PM polprog: next time i choose local pickup and hope for a green card
06:37 PM rue_mohr: yay, the open loop test of the pwoer suppply works
07:15 PM Tom_L: finally getting the drag chain hooked up on the Z axis
07:29 PM rue_shop2: slowly put the world back togethor
07:42 PM aandrew: rue_mohr: you were blowing LEDs in the matrix for a rom and they'd half-fail, leaving a constant current source?
08:07 PM rue_shop2: where did today go?
08:07 PM rue_shop2: darnit, that was my saturday
08:24 PM Tom_shop: ok VFD & contactor mounted on the wall and all wired and tested
08:24 PM rue_mohr: good show
08:27 PM Tom_shop: pics soon
08:28 PM Tom_shop: gotta remount the control. that's the heavy part
08:31 PM aandrew: rue_mohr: yes, today disappeared for me too
08:32 PM aandrew: I went to finish my concrete forms and pour it, discovered I fucked up my calculations for the forms
08:32 PM rue_mohr: ?
08:32 PM rue_mohr: before or after the concrete?
08:32 PM aandrew: so I recomputed so I could rebuild, and just before declaring it good, discovered I made a simliar mistake again
08:32 PM aandrew: so tomorrow I've got it right now
08:33 PM Tom_shop: and done
08:33 PM rue_mohr: !
08:33 PM rue_mohr: with the encoder?

09:01 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/cnc/Mill_Steel/Spindle/Control_Pannel2.jpg
09:08 PM rue_mohr: lookin great
09:09 PM rue_mohr: whats the white cap with the tube?
09:10 PM rue_mohr: did a window dissapear?
09:12 PM Tom_L: white cap?
09:13 PM rue_mohr: left of the motor
09:13 PM Tom_L: it's just sitting there, the coolant tube
09:13 PM rue_mohr: maybe for a coolant resivoir?
09:13 PM Tom_L: it generally sits on the table
09:13 PM rue_mohr: its going thru a cap isn't it?
09:13 PM Tom_L: yes hole in the lid of a gallon jug
09:14 PM Tom_L: had to turn the motor around from what they had it so the cables would reach
09:14 PM rue_mohr: just the spindle left :)
09:14 PM rue_mohr: erp, tight
09:14 PM Tom_L: speed control adjustment and add the brake is left
09:15 PM Tom_L: i stuffed the contactor in the outlet box and covered it
09:21 PM rue_mohr: I'm not doing a good job of staying focused on this power supply
09:21 PM Tom_L: how far along are you?
09:22 PM rue_mohr: the case is done, the controller just needs a few minor things but is done, the output amp is done
09:22 PM rue_mohr: I think I need to make up a smaller electronic current sensor
09:23 PM rue_mohr: then build the regulator board
09:23 PM rue_mohr: and I think thats it
09:23 PM rue_mohr: 19V 5A power supply
09:23 PM rue_mohr: the current one I'm using is 24V 1A
09:23 PM rue_mohr: I hit my head a LOT on that 1A limit
09:25 PM Tom_L: ok back out to clean up a bit
09:27 PM rue_mohr: polprog, the source code for that galler is horrid...
09:27 PM rue_mohr: I know, I'v written source like that before
09:48 PM rue_mohr: hmm, the GAL can sink 16mA but only source 3
09:51 PM rue_mohr: someone pointed out the GALs are power hungry, these 22V10 eat 45mA
09:51 PM rue_mohr: almost 1/4w
09:51 PM rue_mohr: going thru the datasheet more, I see they have a limited term count, they aren't fully linked
09:52 PM rue_mohr: a 27128 is 75mA when operating
09:53 PM rue_mohr: a 28C16 is 30mA
09:54 PM rue_mohr: the 28C64 is also 30mA
09:54 PM rue_mohr: and they are fully linked
09:57 PM rue_mohr: tho, in context, a 74ls14 is up to 12mA
10:49 PM Tom_L: synchronous motion is working again
10:49 PM Tom_L: (rigid tapping etc)
11:35 PM aandrew: hahahaha
11:35 PM aandrew: "Where in the dad manual did it mention how to stop a 3 year old from taking bites out of the fucking drywall?!"
