06:51 AM Tom_itx: well it would at least stop and go to zero so you can clear it
09:10 AM rue_mohr: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/projects/lathe/p1040789.jpg
09:10 AM rue_mohr: this is a good example of that material
10:26 AM Tom_itx: yuck
12:40 PM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
04:41 PM Tom_L: i don't have a cutter that would work. i've got some .03125" but only .125 LOC and .0625 with .187 LOC but those wouldn't clean out the inside
04:42 PM Tom_L: and still not quite deep enough
04:42 PM Tom_L: i could flip it but alignment would be miserable on that small part
04:45 PM Tom_L: i used a .0625 on those blue enclosures
04:47 PM Tom_L: i _could_ try one flipping the part with the 1/32 cutter but it would be iffy
04:48 PM Tom_L: i think i have some HDPE
05:24 PM Tom_L: you gonna make me cut a couple now ehh? http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/rue/coupler/Block.jpg
05:44 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/rue/coupler/block_layout.jpg
05:45 PM Tom_L: only problem is my 1/32" cutter is only .125 deep so the pocket won't go clear to the bottom
05:46 PM Tom_L: i can clean it out with a 1/16 but the bottom of the radius' won't be cleaned out all the way
05:46 PM Tom_L: i can cut the profile by flipping it i think
05:56 PM aandrew: hahahaha
05:57 PM aandrew: in a discussion about eliminating the terms "master" and "slave" someone wrote in
05:57 PM aandrew: hahahahahaha
05:57 PM aandrew: I suppose "pimp" and "bitch" are out of the question.
06:01 PM Tom_L: would likely be more acceptable in the 'community'
08:37 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/rue/coupler/Coupler1.jpg
08:37 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/rue/coupler/Coupler2.jpg
08:37 PM Tom_L: http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/rue/coupler/Coupler3.jpg
08:38 PM Tom_L: you need to put them in your vibra tumbler :)
08:40 PM aandrew: which material is that?
08:41 PM Tom_L: hdpe
09:10 PM rue_shop2: wow
09:10 PM rue_shop2: what speed?
09:11 PM rue_shop2: the middle one, coupler2
09:18 PM Tom_L: that's the bottom getting sheared off to let the goods out
09:19 PM Tom_L: i dunno, it didn't take long
09:20 PM Tom_L: programmed 4k rpm and .0003" for the 1/32 and .0004" for the 1/16 chip load
09:25 PM Tom_L: i reprogrammed it for my cutters with no op stops running 100%
10:47 PM rue_shop2: 4k
