11:31 AM polprog: i found the dataseet for the IR receiver i found.. it's a bit more complicated. has filtering for the remote control carrier freq so not useful

11:36 AM polprog: hmm, cool trick with the diode and the R in paralell.. changes pulse width (and shape on the cap anode)
11:39 AM polprog: maybe the C14 type has different schmitt thresholds becuase my hct14 oscillators have the cap voltages somewhere in the range of .5 Vpp

12:02 PM polprog: in my hct14 relaxation osc, the cap voltage has a very small amplitude
