12:53 AM polprog: rue_shop1: hmm, ive been good at 2.4 filament voltage so far
12:58 AM polprog: granted, two similar size displays with 4 wires inside

05:51 PM rue_mohr: the way I work out the filament votlage, is to bring them up till they just start to glow, then back it off just till you cant see them glowing.
05:52 PM rue_mohr: its based on the fact that some displays I'v seen they are slightly glowing.
05:52 PM rue_mohr: Tom_L, talked to the service desk person today, took the gears in, told the story
05:53 PM rue_mohr: no disagreeal on anything, asked if she could hold onto the new/orig gears so she could talk it over with the mechanics

06:25 PM Tom_L: at least my hdd was kind enough to say 'hey fool you'd better back me up' before it completely died

06:26 PM Tom_L: couple mixed files i think due to a power glitch the other day
