12:23 AM rue_mohr: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/tempimage/p1130210.jpg
12:23 AM rue_mohr: two lines should light up, unless your on the unmonitored column, in which case just the row lights up
12:23 AM rue_mohr: from there you can search the code for what key it is, lookup style, but you dont have to scan the maxtrix
12:23 AM zhanx: ok i will try it
12:23 AM rue_mohr: the idea with the ttl gates was to encode it a bit, but its more chip than its worth
01:13 AM zhanx: hmmm
01:13 AM zhanx: drilling stainless is harder than I thought
01:15 AM zhanx: rue_mohr, I cut a stainless steel mug in half for the two layers
05:55 PM rue_shop1: k
05:55 PM zhanx: ?
05:55 PM rue_shop1: thin, might be a problem
05:56 PM zhanx: log!

08:59 PM zhanx: i wanted out of the heat
09:00 PM Tom_L: how'd the smelter work out?
09:00 PM zhanx: good, till it melted the stainless
09:01 PM Tom_L: little too hot?
09:01 PM zhanx: yep, i use coal this time as a test for the coal. Takes a long to to heat up but once it does wow
09:02 PM Tom_L: what junk did you melt down?
09:03 PM zhanx: cans for this test and some rack screws that I had
09:03 PM zhanx: about 24 coke cans, and beats me on the screws, i saved a ton of them
09:20 PM zhanx: I have a muffin as a paperweight now trophy
09:31 PM rue_shop3: cans generate more slag than metal
09:31 PM rue_shop3: they will actually remove usefull material
09:32 PM zhanx: didn't know that
09:32 PM rue_shop3: mower engine blocks, ...computer parts
09:32 PM * rue_shop1 waits for glue to dry
09:33 PM zhanx: well then a ton of aluminum screws and the cans took some of that away
09:33 PM zhanx: but 4 muffins is a good test
09:34 PM zhanx: crucible did not hold up
09:36 PM Tom_L: what was it made out of?
09:40 PM zhanx: stainless steel coffee mug
09:41 PM rue_shop1: you want atleast 1/8" material
09:41 PM rue_shop1: dont worry about stainless
09:42 PM rue_shop1: it was a bad idea on my part
09:42 PM rue_shop1: use regular steel
09:42 PM rue_shop1: chunk of pipe and a cap even
09:42 PM zhanx: k, what about 3" black pipe and a cap
09:44 PM zhanx: and you said that
09:58 PM rue_mohr: yup
09:58 PM rue_mohr: not galvanized
09:58 PM rue_mohr: I dont know why but that gets eaten up really fast
