12:14 AM rue_mohr: ?
12:14 AM rue_mohr: they using ground pipe now?
12:14 AM zhanx: most have a 10mm pipe instead of rod, got 10 now
12:14 AM rue_mohr: k
12:14 AM rue_mohr: lighter, no point tho
12:14 AM zhanx: so i was thinking of making tracks with them
12:20 AM rue_mohr: k
12:20 AM rue_mohr: hows your printer doing?
12:22 AM zhanx: fine
12:22 AM rue_mohr: did its operation stabalize for ya?
12:22 AM zhanx: making mario checker pieces
12:22 AM zhanx: yep
12:22 AM zhanx: white glue was key to that
12:22 AM rue_mohr: cool, by now it should be pretty well settled in
12:23 AM zhanx: has been for a while
12:23 AM rue_mohr: so, your using glue on the bed?
12:23 AM zhanx: minus me breaking the glass build plate once in a while
12:23 AM zhanx: no still blue tape
12:23 AM rue_mohr: the tape seems to work pretty well
12:24 AM rue_mohr: whats the white glue for? ...
12:24 AM zhanx: i am printing a bunch of mario's and lugies'
12:24 AM rue_mohr: hah ok
12:24 AM zhanx: the nuts and wires
12:24 AM rue_mohr: ah yes!
12:24 AM zhanx: remember the poop checkers?
12:24 AM zhanx: now its mario checkers
12:25 AM rue_mohr: nope...
12:25 AM rue_mohr: but ok
12:25 AM zhanx: waiting on filament for the ladder rack test
12:25 AM rue_mohr: oh thats right I should buy more filament
12:25 AM zhanx: poop emoji
12:25 AM rue_mohr: there are raccoons hanging around a lot latley
12:25 AM zhanx: i print the small medium large ones
12:26 AM rue_mohr: their almost consistantly around in the morning and now the evening
12:26 AM zhanx: bald eagle got a raccoon last week here, the nest is 100 meters in the swamp
12:26 AM zhanx: heard it half the night
12:26 AM rue_mohr: :S
12:27 AM zhanx: i want to take the shot but the wife would not let me
12:27 AM zhanx: I was like its injured, the eagle is gone, let me put it out of misery but no
12:35 AM rue_mohr: :S
12:36 AM zhanx: so I ordered replacement fiber tools last night as i finally had the money
12:36 AM zhanx: drove through a construction zone today
12:37 AM zhanx: y pipe broke and ripped out 2 O2 sensors
12:37 AM zhanx: like really?
12:37 AM zhanx: 254 usd for parts alone
12:37 AM rue_mohr: hu?
12:38 AM rue_mohr: how does that happen?
12:38 AM zhanx: rust belt
12:38 AM rue_mohr: and the sensors didn't have pull-away connectors?
12:38 AM zhanx: i was driving too fast and didn't realize the road was that bad, they did but failed
12:39 AM rue_mohr: huh
12:39 AM rue_mohr: o2 sensors are needed to pass aircare?
12:39 AM zhanx: that is what i said, the connectors should have came loose
12:39 AM zhanx: yep
12:39 AM rue_mohr: and you get aircare inspections how often?
12:40 AM zhanx: yearly and its due next month
12:40 AM rue_mohr: huh
12:40 AM rue_mohr: we never get them here
12:40 AM zhanx: really?
12:40 AM zhanx: that is odd to me
12:40 AM rue_mohr: I have no cat. and my egr valve has been bypassed for years
12:40 AM zhanx: its aircare and vehicle road worthiness
12:41 AM rue_mohr: runs fine
12:41 AM rue_mohr: gets annoyed when it warms up
12:41 AM rue_mohr: but still runs fine
12:41 AM zhanx: would figure you at least have a safety inspection
12:42 AM rue_mohr: but I think the sensor is pooched too
12:42 AM rue_mohr: not here
12:42 AM rue_mohr: maybe in vancouver when you sell a vehicle
12:42 AM zhanx: i don't think i have lived in a state with out a yearly basic safety check
12:43 AM zhanx: that is normal
12:43 AM rue_mohr: I get everything else done regularily
12:44 AM rue_mohr: I run a short cycle on the oil, and every second change I have a shop do with everything else
12:44 AM zhanx: i run 5000 miles on the oil due the rest myself
12:44 AM rue_mohr: the new shocks in the front are nice.
12:45 AM zhanx: oil tax in NY is stupid
12:45 AM rue_mohr: oh
12:45 AM zhanx: got them last month also
12:45 AM rue_mohr: huh
12:45 AM zhanx: and tires on the front
12:45 AM rue_mohr: come to canada for an oil change :)
12:45 AM zhanx: i might have to if i am in the area
12:46 AM zhanx: its weird if i do it myself i get a tax but if pay 5 bucks less its no tax
12:46 AM zhanx: i know the tax is there to prevent dumping
12:50 AM rue_mohr: after some things I'v had people do at shops, I do every 2nd change to keep my finger on the pulse...
12:50 AM rue_mohr: mmm I have to go take that oil in too
12:50 AM zhanx: trust me i fine with a tax on waste oil to make sure its gone right
12:50 AM rue_mohr: I had $1600 maint. budget this year, the front stabalizer bar and shocks were under 500
12:50 AM zhanx: seen the slicks in the rivers too many times
12:50 AM rue_mohr: so I might have some room for the rear springs and shocks
12:50 AM zhanx: rue_mohr, you can't drive the work truck 100% of the time?
12:50 AM rue_mohr: not on a good concience
12:50 AM zhanx: weird here in the states its perk
12:50 AM rue_mohr: besides, its got no room for all the toys I like to drag home
12:50 AM zhanx: true
12:50 AM rue_mohr: which reminds me... I think its full again...
12:50 AM rue_mohr: *sigh*
12:50 AM rue_mohr: there were two monitiors at the hospital
12:51 AM zhanx: yep
12:51 AM zhanx: this laptop does hdmi out so i can use it
12:52 AM rue_mohr: this computer has dual 20" 3:4
12:52 AM rue_mohr: but really high res
12:52 AM zhanx: i am running dual 21" screens here
12:53 AM rue_mohr: it would be tripple, but I couldn't get the secondary video card to co-operate
12:53 AM rue_mohr: iirc soemthing about the drivers not being able to distinguish two cards of the same make properly
12:53 AM zhanx: i have an issue with a reboot that crashes but if i power off and on it works for them
12:53 AM rue_mohr: nvidia?
12:53 AM zhanx: yep
12:54 AM rue_mohr: screens and keyboard just lock up, but machine is still running ( you can ssh in)
12:54 AM zhanx: so i let it hit the bios and trip the switch for it
12:54 AM zhanx: same here
12:54 AM rue_mohr: huh
12:54 AM rue_mohr: I find it dosn't happen if I dont keep chromium open
12:55 AM zhanx: i reboot like what once a month?
12:55 AM zhanx: so its a non issue to worry about
12:55 AM rue_mohr: zippo:/morfiles/objects/breakerlock# uptime
12:55 AM rue_mohr: 22:52:21 up 104 days, 11:42, 22 users, load average: 2.02, 2.12, 2.10
12:55 AM rue_mohr: hahaha
12:55 AM zhanx: i rebooted today due to a kernel update
12:55 AM rue_mohr: my brute force program must still be going in the background
12:56 AM zhanx: 22 users?
10:52 PM zhanx: it was hit by lightning
10:53 PM zhanx: mobo was bad (which they knew) and both daughterboards for the vga out and extra usb ports
10:53 PM Tom_L: seems back now
10:53 PM zhanx: but they just got lucky on the HD being good
10:54 PM Tom_L: either of you could have driven here and fixed the power lines in the time it took those numb nuts to do it
10:55 PM zhanx: lol that bad?
10:55 PM Tom_L: one _had_ to be a rookie
10:55 PM zhanx: i got yelled at today by the electrician on site cause I wired in my outlet for the ups live
10:56 PM zhanx: not cause it was wrong but because i took his work
10:56 PM Tom_L: heh
10:56 PM zhanx: i asked him last week to get it done, i want to get the work done
11:01 PM zhanx: either way, i got one more sat there and the stuff is done in a couple of weeks, waiting on Verizon to drop the T1 line
11:01 PM zhanx: i was nice and left a cable pull for the guy
11:19 PM rue_mohr: YES
11:19 PM rue_mohr: ok, now it just needs paint
11:19 PM zhanx: what was the change?
11:19 PM rue_mohr: I put the "gripper" on
11:19 PM zhanx: no death claw :(
11:19 PM rue_mohr: no
11:20 PM rue_mohr: didn't want any electronics and stuff on it
11:20 PM zhanx: a 4 point claw spring loaded would be nice
11:20 PM rue_mohr: tho, an "all axis free at the touch of 1 button" would be nice
11:20 PM rue_mohr: the thing I put on there I can clamp whatever I want on
11:20 PM rue_mohr: so I think now anyhow
11:20 PM zhanx: it will change as needed
11:29 PM rue_mohr: ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/projects/3rdarm/
