01:24 AM rue_mohr: zhanx, I have a recipt scanner from a bank...
01:24 AM rue_mohr: you just feed 'em in..
01:32 AM rue_mohr: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/projects/3rdarm/slide.htm
06:42 PM zhanx: rue_mohr, nice
06:44 PM Tom_itx: oh
07:04 PM zhanx: man, i bought a new thumb drive and I think i lost it unopened
07:26 PM Tom_itx: bummer
07:41 PM zhanx: found it
07:44 PM zhanx: head is still ringing, I was in the same hall today when a saw blade broke, It amazing how loud that was
07:54 PM Tom_itx: at least the blade didn't take it off
07:57 PM zhanx: it was one of those stop blades if you hit flesh that stop
07:57 PM Tom_itx: hard to stop if it's broke
07:58 PM zhanx: i guess they sometimes break when the stop hits them according to the GC
07:58 PM Tom_itx: i don't believe i would test it personally
07:59 PM zhanx: me neither but i guess the dude did some how I was punching down a phone jack when it happened
08:00 PM zhanx: 30 feet away and my right ear still rings a bit even with my hearing damage
08:52 PM rue_bed: blade?
08:56 PM Tom_itx: tablesaw blade
08:58 PM zhanx: correct
09:02 PM rue_mohr: wood metal or other?
09:03 PM zhanx: think it was wood, i was down the hallway a little bit, and he was in the opening/ 4 way meeting of hallways
09:06 PM Tom_itx: rue_mohr, what's the jig for?
09:09 PM zhanx: ugh tomorrow looks like all windshield time
09:10 PM Tom_itx: gotta love those days
09:12 PM zhanx: everything tomorrow is easy, been to all 9 of the locations before
09:12 PM zhanx: so its like 20 minutes, drive, 30 minutes drive, 10 minutes drive
09:14 PM zhanx: i think i should have mounted this iso before installing it to the usb, the main file looks like its over 4gigs and fat32 hates that
09:16 PM zhanx: Tom_itx, you running windows 10?
09:17 PM Tom_itx: on 2 laptops
09:17 PM Tom_itx: not personally. i hate it
09:17 PM zhanx: how well do NTFS usb drives work on them
09:17 PM Tom_itx: haven't tried but i see no reason why it wouldn't work fine
09:18 PM zhanx: i dont either but I don't run windows etc
09:18 PM Tom_itx: i'm not sure but what 10 might be NTFS
09:18 PM rue_mohr: jig?
09:19 PM Tom_itx: your slide show
09:19 PM zhanx: one of my jobs tomorrow is to take a thumb and back up a raid (no clue why) and mail it out
09:19 PM rue_mohr: oh its a holder arm for welding
09:19 PM rue_mohr: it'll hold stuff in place while I weld
09:19 PM zhanx: awe that is what it is
09:19 PM rue_mohr: 3rd arm
09:33 PM Tom_itx: just checked.. 10 uses NTFS
09:33 PM Tom_itx: can use fat32 and exFAT
09:35 PM Tom_itx: zhanx that's gonna take a while
09:35 PM Tom_itx: it would be quicker to a usb ssd
09:57 PM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
