12:30 AM rue_shop3: how do you mean?
12:35 AM zhanx: it was about a landslid in the oppsite direction
12:38 AM rue_mohr: yea, he's an asshole aparently
12:38 AM rue_mohr: over here its pretty quiet tho
12:39 AM zhanx: lucky you, its half my radio time
12:40 AM rue_mohr: haha
12:43 AM zhanx: I think the wife hid my soldering iron
12:48 AM rue_mohr: paranoia is the beginning of the end
12:48 AM rue_mohr: just quietly use her curling iron for what you need to do
12:49 AM zhanx: oh she does have a flat iron
12:54 AM rue_mohr: so, PID
12:54 AM rue_mohr: PID is like a 3 channel EQ
12:55 AM rue_mohr: high pass, mid pass, and low pass
12:55 AM zhanx: PID still gets me
12:55 AM rue_mohr: http://sound.whsites.net/articles/servo-f14.gif
12:55 AM rue_mohr: this is a good one
12:56 AM zhanx: ok game code 1 is done?
12:56 AM rue_mohr: LM358, +-12V
12:56 AM rue_mohr: :)
12:56 AM zhanx: 6 hours of testing later
12:56 AM zhanx: all the pieces are modular
12:59 AM rue_mohr: I want to build one of those integrators, and then make a digital version that has the same respose
12:59 AM zhanx: when
01:00 AM rue_mohr: just for education
01:00 AM zhanx: k
01:00 AM zhanx: ok I need sleep
01:00 AM rue_mohr: I suppose the digital limit is one count of error with 1 count on integration over the processing period
01:01 AM rue_mohr: I suppose if the processing loop is too fast, you can pre-count your integration and use a set overflow to bump your real value
01:02 AM rue_mohr: but you cant do that with the diff
01:02 AM rue_mohr: gnight
01:02 AM zhanx: let me sleep on it
01:05 AM rue_mohr: I want to build that and play with it (in parts)
01:05 AM rue_mohr: u1 easy, just a diff
01:06 AM rue_mohr: u2 easy, just an inverting amp
01:06 AM rue_mohr: u3 is interesting because its got the shunt resistor
01:06 AM rue_mohr: u4 is pretty standard
01:06 AM rue_mohr: u5 easy, just a sum
05:42 PM zhanx: ?
05:46 PM Tom_L: ¿
05:47 PM zhanx: ¿
06:56 PM rue_shop3: !
06:56 PM rue_shop3: (mine got run over by a car)
06:58 PM zhanx: lol
06:58 PM zhanx: just finished a kids input and testing hour on the game
08:29 PM rue_mohr: :)
08:33 PM zhanx: uploading a video off their input
08:35 PM zhanx: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O595HcPlXkY
08:36 PM zhanx: of course my cell phone sucks at led recording
08:52 PM Tom_L: is it a game of sorts?
08:55 PM zhanx: yep
08:55 PM zhanx: it will be a bracelet / watch faceish
08:57 PM Tom_L: cool
08:58 PM zhanx: Working with the Psychologists at my wife's hospital
09:02 PM zhanx: Tom_L, I am in the very early protoype stage of course
09:06 PM Tom_L: yep
09:08 PM zhanx: i have 20-30 base functions for the lights now
09:30 PM zhanx: and boot display done
09:31 PM zhanx: just doing a color wheel test of it and a poll of button states
09:33 PM rue_mohr: ok, awake again
09:33 PM zhanx: out of the 500 plus lines of code tonight, i am keeping 30
09:33 PM zhanx: welcome back rue
09:33 PM Tom_L: at least he keeps waking up
09:34 PM zhanx: true
09:34 PM rue_mohr: k
09:34 PM zhanx: rue_mohr, check the video
09:34 PM rue_mohr: saw it!
09:34 PM zhanx: its more tweaked now with dynamic settings etc
09:35 PM Tom_L: how are they going to 'wear' it?
09:36 PM zhanx: flexible pcb is planned
09:36 PM zhanx: and on the wrist
09:36 PM Tom_L: some kind of case?
09:36 PM zhanx: yep
09:37 PM zhanx: input on case is literally in a committee
09:37 PM Tom_L: https://grabcad.com/library/7750-chronograph-watch-case-1
09:38 PM zhanx: nope
09:38 PM Tom_L: i know, i just thought of grabcad
09:38 PM zhanx: silicone
09:38 PM zhanx: k
09:56 PM rue_mohr: zhanx, know anything about how autoimmune issues are detected?
09:57 PM zhanx: white blood cell count is too high
09:57 PM zhanx: that is all i know
09:57 PM zhanx: EMT not a doctor
09:57 PM rue_mohr: that helps
09:58 PM rue_mohr: http://sound.whsites.net/articles/servo-f14.gif
09:58 PM rue_mohr: ugh, see if I can get up and do soemthing
09:58 PM Tom_L: yeah white count is a good indicator
10:03 PM rue_mohr: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/tempimage/p1120063.jpg
10:03 PM rue_mohr: they were cleaning up the roadside stuff, no opportunity to get the other 3 treadmill motors
10:04 PM rue_mohr: http://ruemohr.org/~ircjunk/tempimage/p1120071.jpg
10:04 PM rue_mohr: ^^^ thoughts?
10:06 PM zhanx: a duallie?
10:06 PM zhanx: and wind power for the house
10:08 PM rue_mohr: heh, the pmdc is for the cnc ;)
10:08 PM rue_mohr: aka playing with PID
10:09 PM zhanx: k
10:09 PM rue_mohr: hmm, maybe I can get my posting script to pop into irc and drop the urls to the images
10:10 PM zhanx: man, i have been programming off and on for 12 hours
10:10 PM zhanx: more off than on with 15 kids at the house today

11:37 PM rue_shop3: I fixed up a POE switch, maybe I should set up more of the sip phones
11:39 PM rue_shop1: PID is just a 3 band EQ
11:48 PM rue_shop1: the D is a high pass, in this case, 2.5Hz
11:49 PM rue_shop1: (0.707 @ 2.5Hz)
11:49 PM rue_shop1: P is an all-pass
