09:31 PM rue_shop3: so I re'd the oil for it, and then discovered its connector wasn't right, reseated the insert, and then the heater fell out, retighted that, and in the process 'finished' breaking one of the rail spacers on it (3d printed) so.. no I just used a ziptie for now

10:02 PM rue_shop1: grabbed material from the glass shop and threw it on the cnc
10:02 PM Tom_L: yeah this was a part for work we couldn't order
11:13 PM furrywolf: OK! this project failed in a way I entirely did not expect. liquid JB-Weld will flow along magnetic field lines, and suck itself all onto the wrong side of your magnet.
