12:26 AM zhanx: rue_mohr, I had to setup the entire build environment, I think that was harder than a VM
12:55 AM zhanx: ok deb package generation started
11:51 AM Tom_itx: ok, took the P166 apart again for more soldering...
11:52 AM Tom_itx: this time the memory sockets
11:52 AM Tom_itx: pretty soon i'll have resoldered the whole board
11:52 AM Tom_itx: oh, and the power connector and regs
11:53 AM Tom_itx: couple of those looked a little flakey
12:11 PM Tom_itx is now known as Tom_L
12:23 PM rue_bed: hmm
12:24 PM rue_bed: I'v never had problems with the old pentiums
12:24 PM rue_bed: anything 1G or higher, yes, not stuff up to 500Mhz tho
12:33 PM rue_mohr: I upgraded the fileserver to a 1.2Ghz machine, now it needs a new power supply already
12:34 PM rue_mohr: I think thats whats up anyhow
01:52 PM Tom_L: it sits right by a vent which probably contributed to it's thermal issue
02:12 PM zhanx: well didn't miss much
02:12 PM zhanx: my lasers and crap for the scanner are on the "plane"
02:13 PM zhanx: still having some issues with opencv and this HD webcam, the cheapo one and the one in the laptop work\
02:14 PM Tom_L: i could see a few bad pins so i was pretty confident that would fix it
02:16 PM zhanx: dang it computer reminded me to backup today
02:16 PM zhanx: I forgot to get some dvd's
02:17 PM Tom_L: i back up to ssd now

03:10 PM zhanx: Tom_L, that reminds me of openmoto
04:03 PM zhanx: great my internet is lagging again
04:46 PM rue_mohr: so, the 8 bit timer o the tiny13 is gonna suck for doing serial
04:46 PM rue_mohr: and I'm only aiming for 9600 baud
05:48 PM Tom_L: what you workin on now?
07:41 PM rue_mohr: 9600 serial receive for a tiny13
07:42 PM Tom_L: no 16 bit timer on it ehh?
07:43 PM Tom_L: funny the little 4 io 10 has one
07:45 PM rue_mohr: yea...
07:45 PM rue_mohr: the 8 bit timer isn't big enough, I had to redesign my method
07:46 PM rue_mohr: anyhow, this will either be 9600 or 1200 baud
07:46 PM rue_mohr: silly t13 speed flags
07:55 PM rue_shop3: erm, 30 is ascii for 0 right?
07:55 PM rue_shop3: heh oops 0x30
07:56 PM rue_shop3: yup, ok 0x30
08:11 PM furrywolf: echo -n '0' | od -t ax1
08:12 PM rue_shop3: hmm, timers not working

08:13 PM Tom_L: 36°F Lo 31
10:15 PM Tom_L: first snow of the year
10:15 PM Tom_L: big flakes but they won't stick
10:15 PM furrywolf: heh, exact opposite here... random heat wave, critical fire weather with several fires starting, and I was running the a/c in my van...
10:17 PM Tom_L: we've had flooding here too
10:17 PM Tom_L: the other day i saw a guy's rain gage for a day at 5"
10:20 PM furrywolf: that's here from december through june or so...
10:21 PM Tom_L: the flood canal is about half or just above half full
10:21 PM Tom_L: i've seen it completely full and overflowing a bit once in my life
10:35 PM rue_shop3: hmm, so once my code gets a character, it ever stops
10:35 PM rue_shop3: ah bingo
