09:56 PM Tom_L: i've got a 2 way switch on my shop lights. one at the front of it and one at the rear. i've also got a motion sensor light on the same circuit but on a different switch which i can turn completely off or let the sensor activate it
09:57 PM Tom_L: at night when i turn the lights on from the front of the shop and turn them off again, it activates the light on the sensor
09:57 PM Tom_L: if i use the 2way switch at the rear, it doesn't do this

09:58 PM Tom_L: neither one of these switches should activate it but the one at the front does but not the one at the rear (closest to the outside light on the sensor)

11:49 PM rue_shop3: it sounds like someone thought they had the right lines for power at the one end, for the motion sensor, but they didn't
11:50 PM rue_shop3: there is no neutral on a remote 3wire for a 3 way switch
