10:25 AM jym: rue_house: I realize that the 3" exhaust is limiting, but I'm trying to limit overtemps. What I'm finding is that smoke from cord wood builds up and starts to smother out the fire. I attempted to use a U shape pipe as a reburned (no baffle yet), and it did a little better. Any thoughts on secondary burn so I can eliminate the smoke build up?
03:04 PM jym: rue_house: Made a long basket out of 1/4" mesh wire. Used a1/3rd of a coffee can of wood pellets, Been burning for an hour thus far, about 1/4 of the pellets have been burnt. I CAN touch the top of the barrel, but it's "nice", like take the chill off of things.
