[20:25:33] <katsmeow> and Tobor carries young Timmy off into the sunset
[20:25:49] <katsmeow> the next day the put Tobor on a V2 rocket
[20:26:13] <katsmeow> he is never seen again
[20:26:15] <katsmeow> the end
[20:47:22] <katsmeow-afk> oh this is rich, i just got around Microsoft's wall and into their database of private idea pdfs
[20:47:33] <katsmeow-afk> they must be running it on win10
[20:52:53] <katsmeow-afk> hacking research.microsoft.com
[20:52:59] <katsmeow-afk> these are not only not been released for publication, they are still in the pipeline awaiting final edits
[20:53:18] * katsmeow-afk grabs one dated for release on May 07-12 , 2016
[21:59:06] <katsmeow-afk> 1000× IDT 71V256SA SRAM 32Kx8 15ns 3.3V SOJ-28 SMD SMT 32K x8 3V STATIC MEMORY
[22:00:25] <katsmeow-afk> 26 lots available (1,000 items per lot) / 3 sold
[22:01:42] <Tom_itx> mmm i need a ~.712 (18mm) roughly shoulder bearing that i can put a small shoulder bolt thru
[22:01:45] <Tom_itx> OD
[22:02:10] <Tom_itx> to approximately .250 shaft size
[22:02:15] <katsmeow-afk> i suggest drilling one to size
[22:02:29] <Tom_itx> well the shoulder bolt is about that anyway
[22:02:40] <Tom_itx> i can get different shoulder bolts i'm pretty sure
[22:03:11] <Tom_itx> my rocker fell apart
[22:03:36] <Tom_itx> it's a knurled OD bearing to press into the frame
[22:03:43] <Tom_itx> but i'm gonna take what i can find
[22:04:57] <Tom_itx> it wasn't designed for repair
[22:05:25] * katsmeow-afk nods
[22:05:49] <Tom_itx> 5/16 shoulder bolt with 1/4 20 thread may work
[22:06:22] <Tom_itx> on a shoulder bearing if i can find one
[22:06:32] <Tom_itx> http://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/88627914
[22:06:36] <Tom_itx> etc
[22:08:05] * katsmeow-afk wavers at zhanx
[22:08:30] <zhanx> My nets are working
[22:08:35] <zhanx> Yeah
[22:09:20] <katsmeow-afk> truck working?
[22:10:51] <zhanx> No and long story. Not in the mood to share it
[22:11:02] <katsmeow> k
[22:11:11] <zhanx> Tomorrow I am fixing it and looking for an apartment
[22:11:47] <katsmeow> that doesn't sound good
[22:11:53] <Tom_itx> for 4 or 1?
[22:11:59] <zhanx> 1
[22:12:53] <katsmeow> we are prolly assuming the worst
[22:13:46] <zhanx> Long story not in the mood sorry kat
[22:13:55] <katsmeow> np
[22:14:27] * katsmeow offers a small cheeseburger and jumbo fries
[22:15:16] <zhanx> Wish it was my tool package, it was delayed in Chicago
[22:15:32] <zhanx> Supposed to be delivered today
[22:15:45] * katsmeow nods
[22:17:05] <zhanx> But I got new calipers, pads, rotors, ujoints, fuel filter, and a vacuum line kit
[22:17:10] <zhanx> Plugs etc
[22:17:23] <Tom_itx> that's a good day's work
[22:17:43] <katsmeow> i replaced the car air filter, oddly, that eliminated some valve ticking
[22:17:55] <katsmeow> Tom, he got them, he didn't put them in yet
[22:18:00] <zhanx> 3 hours tops, tom remember I am a mechanic
[22:18:21] <Tom_itx> u joints can sometimes be stubborn
[22:18:40] <zhanx> I use a press
[22:18:43] <katsmeow> and i had to clear out a couple handfulls of chewed acorns
[22:19:05] <zhanx> I had walnuts in mine
[22:19:09] <katsmeow> damned mice get in anything with a 1/2 inch hole
[22:19:48] <zhanx> True
[22:19:56] <zhanx> And squirrels
[22:20:05] <katsmeow> scarey to think a paper filter was all that kept them out of the maf and turbo intake
[22:21:10] <katsmeow> going to fit some 1/4 hardware cloth somehow to be a mouse-from-airflow extractor
[22:22:01] <zhanx> K & m filters
[22:22:07] <zhanx> Metal mesh back
[22:22:31] <katsmeow> they go thru aluminum, squirrels do too
[22:22:55] <katsmeow> i embedded steel mesh in cement to keep squirrels out frm under the eaves of the house
[22:23:09] <zhanx> Metal as in steel
[22:23:24] <katsmeow> i'd catch tem with a mouth full of mesh, yanking and pulling on it, the cement fixed that problem
[22:25:59] <zhanx> Cement is goof for that
[22:26:04] * katsmeow looks for low-cost starter relays to isolate the entire car from the battery when not in it
[22:26:36] <zhanx> A battery switch
[22:27:21] <katsmeow> don't wanna pop the hood every time to close/open the switch
[22:27:32] <zhanx> Fender or bumper
[22:27:37] <katsmeow> do not need to run the starter current thru it either
[22:28:02] <katsmeow> i figure pull it in on 12v, then idle down to 8v to hold it in
[22:28:17] <katsmeow> some hold in at 3v
[22:28:34] <katsmeow> but it should handle all the chassis power easily
[22:29:31] <zhanx> So the va gave me my letter
[22:30:25] <katsmeow> something is periodically draining all thebattery power overnite, i dunno what, but until i can find and fix the lil fire hazard, i can switch off the entire car
[22:30:28] <katsmeow> good
[22:30:39] <zhanx> It was good
[22:31:03] <zhanx> Battery switch and be done with it
[22:31:48] <rue_house> MOOOOOOOOOON!!!
[22:31:48] <katsmeow> i willnot be happy with the big knife switch
[22:31:50] <rue_house> Moon_, ^^
[22:31:52] <rue_house> MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[22:35:08] * katsmeow ponders using 20 irf4905
[22:35:49] <katsmeow> but this seems so much more rugged ==>> http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Starter-Solenoid-Relay-for-POLARIS-ATV-MTD-Lawn-Mower-/141036754260
[22:41:59] <zhanx> Kat
[22:42:03] <katsmeow> zhanx
[22:42:27] <zhanx> That is basically a 94 chevy start siliniod
[22:42:32] <zhanx> Spelling aside
[22:42:47] <katsmeow> 4905 is cheap enough, but i'd need some monster chokes to keep all the inductive kicks in a car environment out of them
[22:43:13] <katsmeow> awefull small for a car starter relay
[22:43:31] <katsmeow> i have used them on winches and riding mowers
[22:44:01] <katsmeow> used the big fat short side terminals for cars, trucks, and the electric VW
[22:48:48] * katsmeow easts some St John's Wort
[22:49:40] * Tom_itx shuts rue_house's jaw a bit so the O's don't keep falling out
[22:50:33] <Tom_itx> well i have somewhat of a plan at least. a 5/16 shoulder bolt with a bushing or bearing will fix it i hope
[22:51:14] <Tom_itx> should be able to thread the 5/16 where the current one is riveted in place
[22:51:41] <katsmeow> he panged out
[22:51:48] <katsmeow> ping pang pung
[22:57:47] * katsmeow hopes zhanx is ok
[23:05:05] <Moon_> TTTHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS!
[23:23:11] <Moon_> farts
[23:50:50] <katsmeow> watching animes is more exciting than watching amines
[23:53:41] <rue_house> large robots fighting large lizard creatures?
[23:54:54] <katsmeow> saw that one
