00:07 any35865335 so i have 5 sheets of 3/16 4x8 , one 4x10, one at least 4x7, and some 3/16 pieces,,, i thinkif i arrange them just right, i can have the 2nd 16x16 with a 2x3ft hatch down to the space above each pontoon
00:38 any35865335 .
00:44 rue_house <any32276359> why did what i say make you guys stop talking?
00:44 rue_house <rue_shop3> nothing, I was installing shelvs in the greenhouse
00:44 any35865335 o
00:44 rue_house pontoon material, cool
00:45 any35865335 deck material, pontoon will be 1/8 plate
00:48 any35865335 deck plate , in my case, is pricier because it's thiicker
00:49 any35865335 the natural curve of the pontoons makes their plate self-reinforcing
00:53 any35865335 it's not so much you want to feel a stable floor underfoot, but if it is moving as you walk on int or wheel something across it, it's bendng and will eventually fail from fatigue,, and pop the welds
01:00 rue_house I got all the libraries workign great
01:01 any35865335 umm, good deal
01:01 rue_house seems that one of them has a problem with whats supposed to be a blocking write to the serial port and jams up the buffer, so I put a 1/50sec delay in the main update loop and everything was happy
01:01 rue_house today, adding a delay speeded things up.
01:03 any35865335 a 20 millisec delay? so a puter, that's a looong time
01:03 rue_house yes, but its just one update cycle to a servo
01:03 any35865335 oh, ok
01:03 rue_house updating a servo at more than 1/50ms interval is pointless
01:03 y35865335
01:09 any35865335 just noticed it's nearly 1am
01:09 any35865335 i should be in bed in 2 hrs ago
01:17 any35865335 k, gite
01:18 any35865335 gnite
02:09 rue_house gnight
15:13 any35325181 no, you cannot roll up a tape ball with the sticky side out, for the cats to play with
18:34 rue_house hmm
20:09 Tom_itx wonder why xilinx failed to install drivers in linux
22:23 rue_house did it compile them?
22:23 rue_house is there a .ko file?
22:23 rue_house does your system have the kernel source headers on it?
22:39 katsmeow-afk no
22:44 Tom_itx the install said the drivers failed
22:55 katsmeow-afk wowh, looks like the guy who wanted to make a killing off me on that trailer in Fla finally unloaded it, and took a bath : he bought for $58k, sold for $25k
22:59 katsmeow-afk 11/03/2014 $25,000
22:59 katsmeow-afk 10/20/2011 $53,000
23:00 katsmeow-afk i told him it wasn't worth $53k
23:00 katsmeow-afk and for no rules, as agreed to, i'd live there and buy it from him, so he made more rules
23:02 katsmeow-afk looks like he never mowed it : http://thumbs.trulia-cdn.com/pictures/thumbs_5/ps.64/2/d/1/9/picture-uh=4f6730718b526b3492b1c21bee18c487-ps=2d191bfe2e822f76207ac1daba6545b1-39040-Forest-Dr-Eustis-FL-32736.jpg
23:05 katsmeow-afk i wish he'd listened to me, anolder google streetview shows he put a doghouse over the pump when he replaced the one stolen, after he said i could not put a doghouse over it before it was stolen
23:06 katsmeow-afk i bet between then and the time it sold Nov last yr, the pump AND doghouse were stolen
23:11 katsmeow-afk he had wanted me to pay 2x as much for a barn floor so he could have it certified as a house floor
23:11 katsmeow-afk when i said no, he said i could not run power and water to it, i asked how i was to arc weld, he said to run an extension cord from inside the trailer
23:15 katsmeow-afk i wanted to underskirt the trailer to keep out the animals that fought under there every night, and then put the water pump and air conditioner under it too
23:16 tsmeow-afk s
23:40 katsmeow-afk i guess it was worth $28k to him to rule a mobile home with an iron contrary fist for 3 years
23:50 katsmeow-afk sorry for speaking
