19:52 katsmeow-afk Soldier Surprises Wife With Romantic Breakfast, She Surprises Him Back By Shooting Him
20:32 katsmeow-afk so on animaniacs, if a small servo was put in each moving hammer on those rods, and a few AA cells, and a wireless signal sent, that computer generated orchestra could be made in reality?
20:32 katsmeow-afk err, animusic
20:58 rue_more ok I modified the phone system
20:59 katsmeow-afk it shines colored lites and plays organ music now?
20:59 Tom_itx got my free spindle board today finally
21:00 Tom_itx gonna take some thought to get it to do what i need
21:00 katsmeow-afk i got an anwer to the price issue on ebay, in chinese, and google doesn't translate it
21:01 katsmeow-afk funny thing, they email me spam in english every other day
21:02 rue_more I wonder if one could make a nose binocular, that would give you stereo smelling over long distances
21:02 katsmeow-afk that would be wierd
21:02 katsmeow-afk and banned
21:05 katsmeow-afk i think you could maybe use alaser to detect molecule oscillatons, and deduce something from that, but you'd then need to either rebuild the molecule in your nose, or have a canof that molecule to let looselocally
21:08 rue_more http://hackaday.com/2015/02/02/tubes-on-a-chip/
21:14 katsmeow-afk rue, i think someone tried making various tubes in small wells in a series of overlaid glass plates a few yrs ago, with no filaments
21:15 katsmeow-afk they didn't duplicate any existing tubes, but the triodes in each well did function at least as much like tubes as fets do
21:18 katsmeow-afk Quoting from http://www.korg.com/us/news/2015/012212/
21:18 katsmeow-afk “The Nutube 6P1, currently being developed, takes advantage of KORG’s experience in musical instrument production, and is tuned for optimal effect to generate rich harmonics when used with a musical instrument. – See more at: http://www.korg.com/us/news/2015/012212/#sthash.OoTyvB2K.dpuf”
21:18 katsmeow-afk Great! they have created a tube that generate a lot of Harmonic distortion!
21:23 katsmeow-afk cool, cheap feedthru insulators for 1/4 inch bolts: tire valve stem caps, unless you have some tubing, of course
22:42 katsmeow-afk no
22:54 katsmeow-afk <span style="line-height: 20.7999992370605px;"> wait, 20.7999992370605 pixels, because, what, 20.8 is too tall?
