00:09 katsmeow-afk This rodent experiment, however, argues that intelligence is really about the ability to control the spotlight of attention.
00:10 katsmeow-afk What, then, determined self-control? Mischel’s conclusion, based on hundreds of hours of observation, was that the crucial skill was the “strategic allocation of attention.”
00:10 katsmeow-afk “If you’re thinking about the marshmallow and how delicious it is, then you’re going to eat it,” Mischel says. “The key is to avoid thinking about it in the first place.”
00:17 katsmeow-afk Tiggr has 465 links to Brownian Motion
00:17 katsmeow-afk i have no idea why
00:18 katsmeow-afk <Kolmogorov_equations> <linksTo> <Brownian_motion>
00:18 katsmeow-afk <Càdlàg> <linksTo> <Brownian_motion>
00:18 katsmeow-afk <The_Feynman_Lectures_on_Physics> <linksTo> <Brownian_motion>
00:18 katsmeow-afk etc
00:31 katsmeow-afk Will an AI ever say to itself something like: "I am bored today. I don't care what I am programmed to do today. Today I shall enjoy myself by driving these humans around me crazy. Today I shall give them only wrong answers to anything they ask me."
00:34 katsmeow-afk Mar 29 2011: What happens when your computer debates you over on this topic?
00:34 katsmeow-afk Mar 29 2011: What happens when the computer decides your not even worth debating?
00:34 katsmeow-afk <me> what happens when the computer notices you don't know the diff tween "your" and "you're"?
00:41 katsmeow-afk so google is playing youtube videos into Deep Mind non-stop,,,,, and it learned "cats"
00:42 katsmeow-afk <LarryPage> Well, this is the state of the art right now, understanding cats on YouTube,....
00:43 rue_bed as childs understanding of language is only as good as the language its been exposed to
00:46 katsmeow-afk good to see the Ted talks have transcripts now, so i can read while my eyeballs are vibrating to the bass in Depeche Mode
00:47 rue_house policy of truth
00:48 katsmeow-afk http://www.ted.com/talks/jeremy_howard_the_wonderful_and_terrifying_implications_of_computers_that_can_learn/transcript?language=en
00:49 katsmeow-afk i dunno, i think Peace has a better msg and bass line
00:49 rue_house what about people that can learn?
00:49 katsmeow-afk or people who cannot learn
00:52 rue_house lots of people dont
00:55 katsmeow-afk you're right, search engines are returning more and more garbage instead of related links
00:57 katsmeow-afk If you want to be able to tell the difference between, say, a tree and a pedestrian, well, that's pretty important. <<== trees don't walk out in front of you
01:00 rue_house tho I'm sure lots of people are argued the exact opposite with cops in alabama
01:00 katsmeow-afk yeas, and then the tree dragged the car off the road too!
01:01 katsmeow-afk more often, "the road turned and there was the tree!"
01:01 katsmeow-afk from which we learned that roads can get up and turn to make you crash
01:05 katsmeow-afk something i notice a lot here, they mix up cause and effect: "the sun set because it got dark outside"
01:07 rue_house hmm
01:08 rue_house are goggles made in dual layers to avoid jogup?
01:08 katsmeow-afk jogup?
01:08 rue_house fogup
01:08 rue_house I was going to put a heater resistor on my shop goggles
01:09 rue_house in
01:09 katsmeow-afk oh, some have a hydrophobic layer
01:09 rue_house ah
01:09 katsmeow-afk i dunno what that layer is
01:09 katsmeow-afk there's been various spray-ons, basically oils
01:09 rue_house I could dig, I'm sure its not soemthing I have avilable
01:09 katsmeow-afk i have found that a sturdy cleaning with ammonia will prolong or eliminate some fogging
01:11 katsmeow-afk fogging often occurs because there's something hydrophilic on the glass, usually biologic, and ammonia removes such things far better than detergents do
01:16 katsmeow-afk As of 2014, we're now down to a six percent error rate in image recognition. This is better than people, again. <<== no wonder they are hitting trees
01:25 tsmeow-afk misses going to concerts, and is imaging the feeling of being on stage during rehearsal with this kinda bass and people sin
01:28 tsmeow-afk has been known to crank her sterio at outdoor stages, and police get called from a mile
01:29 katsmeow-afk since then, the foam surrounds on the woofers rotted, and the powerco blew the Sansui, the Marantz, 2 fridges, the portable 100Mz scope, etc etc
01:34 katsmeow-afk Computers don't detect novel patterns and new behaviors, but humans do. <<== dumb, because the solution to some problems is being able to identify what you do *not* know,, like "i never saw that before" rather than try to fit into a box of "seen that before"
01:36 katsmeow-afk fwiw, i been bar-coding the cables with colored shrink tubing: it cannot rub off, fade out from heat or moisture, and i can see it the same from all angles
01:41 rue_house what are the cables your identifying?
01:41 katsmeow-afk the ups charge cables
01:41 katsmeow-afk so i get the right charger to the right battery
01:42 katsmeow-afk the data on battery condition won't mean a thing if i don't know which battery it's showing me has a problem
01:44 katsmeow-afk it's actually stupidly labor intensive: 2 pices over each end of the outer insulation, one over each end of each conductor, and 2 at each end for identification, for 16 cables
01:44 katsmeow-afk 128 pieces of heat shrink
01:45 katsmeow-afk more,, 160
01:45 katsmeow-afk (2 + 4 + 4) x 16
01:55 katsmeow-afk rue, lets say i have a boat, 16x8ft, and i want to be able to radio control it from a ramp to a parking spot (at a dock or in anchoring zone), how many cameras do i need to be active simultaneously, and how many need to be moveable?
01:56 katsmeow-afk i am thinking one front, one rear, one on a overhead tower that turns, one on each anchor line, one at each dock mooring loop
01:58 rue_house well, one forward, maybe one down the back left and right, I'm thinking vehicle visability, reverse mirrors views
02:02 katsmeow-afk not one up on a pole looking mostly down?
02:02 katsmeow-afk i am afraid that depth percepton will be off, and it hits a dock too hard
02:30 rue_shop4 I'm not familiar with operation of sailboats
02:30 rue_shop4 "tack INTO the wind?"
02:31 katsmeow-afk nono, powerboat, a prop at each end
02:38 rue_shop4 oh
02:47 tsmeow-afk is watching another robot m
02:47 katsmeow-afk Transmorphers
02:47 katsmeow-afk so far, it's 1960's cheesy
03:07 katsmeow-afk woops, the guy just found out he is a robot
03:23 katsmeow-afk the SpaceX 9 is due to launch in 45 minutes (i think), it will attempt to robotic Ai land on a drone ship
03:29 katsmeow-afk audio is intermittant, but countdown is at 39 minutes
03:38 katsmeow-afk t-30 minutes
03:43 katsmeow-afk 25 minutes
03:47 katsmeow-afk 21 minutes
03:47 katsmeow-afk i hope someones posts a video of this later, i don't have enough bandwidth to watch it live
03:53 katsmeow-afk www.spacex.com/webcast/ has the best feed
03:53 katsmeow-afk 14:30 on the clock
03:57 katsmeow-afk i doubt nasa sites will cover the attempt to land the rocket on the ship, i hope spacex will
03:57 katsmeow-afk i wonder what happens if the rocket doesn't like that ship and atepmts to land on some other ship
03:58 katsmeow-afk time 10 minutes
04:04 katsmeow-afk they are lowering the tower, 4 min till launch
04:05 katsmeow-afk missile is on internal power and armed , 3 min till launch
04:06 katsmeow-afk 2 min till launch
04:07 katsmeow-afk 1 min till launch
04:07 katsmeow-afk missileisinsratup for ignition
04:08 katsmeow-afk 30 sec
04:08 katsmeow-afk launch!
04:10 katsmeow-afk 1 mile per sec
04:11 katsmeow-afk 58 km high
04:11 katsmeow-afk stage separation
04:13 katsmeow-afk stage 2 separation coming up
04:14 katsmeow-afk or not
04:15 rue_bed did a launch go wrong?
04:16 katsmeow-afk 10 minutes after launch,, i wonder why they do not switch tot he booster landing
04:18 katsmeow-afk ok, 2nd stage separateon happpened
04:18 katsmeow-afk switched to tracking in Finland, NASA losttrack of it
04:19 katsmeow-afk it's in orbit
04:20 katsmeow-afk awe comon, switch tot he booster finding the ship and landing on it!
04:21 katsmeow-afk 13 min after solar panels have deployed
04:21 katsmeow-afk after ^launch^
04:25 katsmeow-afk they just said they are not tracking the booster, and it will be later before the recovery happens
04:48 katsmeow-afk no video on the landing,, err, crash on the ship
04:48 katsmeow-afk itfound the ship, attepmted the landing, landed hard, broke up
04:56 katsmeow-afk http://www.vox.com/2015/1/10/7520921/spacex-ship-landing
13:26 rue_shop4 hu?
13:26 rue_shop4 wasn't it going to the iss?
13:27 rue_shop4 or did it already
15:54 katsmeow-afk "Domestic violence was allegedly arrested for by George Zimmerman"
15:55 katsmeow-afk "Zimmerman was accused by his estranged wife of smashing an iPad through an argument...."
15:55 katsmeow-afk "Zimmerman has also been pulled over three instances for targeted traffic violations given that his acquittal."
15:56 katsmeow-afk english has become difficult to understand lately
15:58 katsmeow-afk http://edition.cnn.com/2015/01/10/us/spacex-rocket-launch/
16:06 rue_house wow
16:07 rue_house looks like its been stolen and rephrased by serveal bots in a row
16:43 Tom_itx maybe i can get something done on the control this evening
17:18 katsmeow-afk so what if you took an F-35, removed that stupid fan and all pilot accessories, put a LOX bottle where the fan and pilot were, strapped a Pegasus to it's back, and called it a space station delivery system that could take off and land every few hours from any normal airport?
17:20 katsmeow-afk fly normally ffrom takeoff until the stock engine cannot gulp enough air, then run it in pure afterburner with O2 injection till it runs out of O2, launch the Pegasus off it's back, and that carried 500lbs to the space station
17:21 katsmeow-afk you could deliver 500lbs every orbit of the space station, or even more often, for waaaaaaaaaaay less than using a rocket first stage, and launch/land from any existing runway
17:23 katsmeow-afk the rocket launched this morning was $58 million for just the first stage, it burned $200k of fuel, and then essentially went to the bottom of the Atlantic
17:23 katsmeow-afk even if itlanded ok, it cannot do that in a storm, needs a special landing barge, and must be towed and carried back to land
17:26 katsmeow-afk it delivered 5000 lbs to the station, that stage cannot possibly refly in a month, but the F-35 approach can refly the same day, making 5000 lbs worthof delivery every 10 days, or several flights can be made from diferent airports as the station passes over the usa
17:27 katsmeow-afk i need to go outside to mailbox, bbiaf
17:52 katsmeow-afk good news: http://www.ebay.com/itm/361090649554 will pull in on 6vdc, but is a lil slower, so pulling it in at 12vdc and holding it with 6vdc (for 1/4 the power heating) is feasable,, and it's available from China for way cheaper
17:52 katsmeow-afk but that valve is in Canadia for rue already
19:11 katsmeow-afk the pastic valves are cheaper, naturally
21:28 rue_shop4 kat, I have a dual, bi directional grey counter down to 3 chips, do you think better can be had?
21:29 katsmeow there's grey-binary convertor chips
21:29 katsmeow plus, a single avr should be able to do the converting
21:29 rue_shop4 this is to take up/down, and clock, output 2 bit grey
21:30 katsmeow oh
21:30 rue_shop4 thoughts?
21:31 katsmeow 7443= [!what][!electronics][!integrated circuit] Excess-3 to Decimal Decoder
21:31 katsmeow 7444= [!what][!electronics][!integrated circuit] Excess-3-Gray code to Decimal Decoder
21:32 katsmeow i thought there was more
21:33 katsmeow pla, fpga, avr, those are single-chip solutions, i dunno, my mind is not on it atm
21:40 rue_shop4 I wonder if a shift register...
21:42 m_itx thinks rue_shop4 is thinking discrete chips
21:46 rue_shop4 '194?
21:51 rue_shop4 aparently I'm not feeling the nak
21:51 rue_shop4 I'm sure the 194 or the 299, but my ehad cant wrap around it
21:51 Tom_itx http://i.ytimg.com/vi/jpmp9uvjrwU/hqdefault.jpg
21:52 rue_shop4 yes, I need a direction pin
21:52 rue_shop4 bidirectional 2 bit grey counter
21:52 useless yipes
21:53 rue_shop4 I can do two in 3 chips
21:53 Tom_itx https://asicdigitaldesign.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/non-power-2-gray-021.png
21:54 rue_shop4 my circuit basically inserts two XORs into the first circuit you posted
21:54 useless could do a lookup table, you could even do it with 4 jumpers and a 2 or 3 pole switch
21:54 rue_shop4 the counting action would add another chip
21:55 useless '155
21:55 rue_shop4 it dosn't have the ability to latch
21:55 rue_shop4 hmmm
21:55 useless i didn't know you needed a latch
21:56 rue_shop4 for a grey counter?
21:56 rue_shop4 clock and direction in
21:56 useless i dunno what you are doing, and my head isn't onit now
21:56 Tom_itx http://www.isibrno.cz/~ivovi/gray_counter.pdf
21:56 Tom_itx vhdl code for one
21:57 useless all i know is some lil hitler has had a beef with me for years and banned me from the only forum i find even slightly worth posting on
21:57 rue_shop4 I cant program fpga or pal chips yet
21:57 Tom_itx you need to join the 21st century
21:57 rue_shop4 :P never!
21:58 rue_shop4 this is too simple to be complex
21:58 Tom_itx This circuit is a proof of concept that 555 alone can be used to implement general digital circuits. Basic elements used for this purpose is a 555-based NOR gate, a 555 inverter, and a 555 clocked D flip-flop. Even pull-up resistors are implemented with 555. A 555 astable multivibrator can be used for clock
21:58 Tom_itx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpmp9uvjrwU
21:59 rue_shop4 I would like to pull it off in less than 1.5 chips per channel
22:00 Tom_itx i would like to win the lottery and buy my own island too
22:00 useless well, it's only 2 lines, the truth table is very small, just set up all the possibilities with a few jmpers, and select from them
22:11 rue_shop4 the problem is latching the state and decoding it to the table all in 1 chip
22:21 useless avr
22:21 rue_shop4 I have it up to a '138, '74, and 8 diodes
22:21 Tom_itx powered up the new board
22:22 rue_shop4 I'd have an avr feeding an avr feeding drivers, somehow, I dont like that...
22:22 Tom_itx it kinda makes ya a little skiddish to start over...
22:22 rue_shop4 Tom_itx, any explosions yet?
22:22 Tom_itx no
22:22 rue_shop4 yea
22:22 rue_shop4 cool
22:22 Tom_itx it's not in the box yet
22:22 Tom_itx i wanted to see the default configuration of it
22:22 Tom_itx i rewired all the 5v supply so it comes from one header
22:23 Tom_itx i checked all the grounds and get 0 ohms back to the plug on all of them
22:23 Tom_itx should i run a wire from supply ground to frame ground?
22:23 Tom_itx there's 0 ohms between them anyway
22:25 rue_shop4 did you check the neutrals?
22:25 Tom_itx the board draws 65ma
22:25 Tom_itx what do you mean?
22:25 Tom_itx i checked everything i could think of
22:25 rue_shop4 the neutral wires in the 120
22:25 Tom_itx yes
22:25 rue_shop4 thats what I'm saying failed, not the ground :)
22:25 rue_shop4 k
22:26 Tom_itx my meter wires were coroded but when i fixed that they were very low
22:26 Tom_itx .xx ohms
22:26 rue_shop4 yea
22:26 rue_shop4 if the neutral breaks the 120V goes thru ground paths
22:26 Tom_itx i retightened all the screws in the sub pannel too
22:26 rue_shop4 always a good thing to do
22:27 Tom_itx i'm going to do the same at the main pannel
22:27 Tom_itx for that circuit at least
22:27 Tom_itx i kinda sorta think it may have been the 24v thing... i just wish i could prove it
22:28 rue_shop4 I think its best if there is no current path from the frame to any of the circuitry
22:28 Tom_itx those 2 boards were made to drive 24v relays etc
22:28 Tom_itx i'm not sure how to avoid that?
22:28 rue_shop4 do you have photos right after it blew you can zoom in on?
22:29 Tom_itx just those 2 boards
22:29 rue_shop4 I'm thinking, you want the case grounded, but not in a way that any 1 short between any power line and the case can cause any current
22:29 Tom_itx well how do you do that?
22:30 useless rue, that is why you don't tie case to newutral
22:30 rue_shop4 maybe the only link being something like a 10k resistor to make sure the power supplies dont float too much
22:30 useless but, it's tied at the breakebox anyhow
22:30 Tom_itx exactly
22:30 rue_shop4 his power supplies dont need a - ground tie thats hard tho
22:31 rue_shop4 I'v noticed that 50% of computer power supplies ground the - line
22:31 Tom_itx it's a function of the box
22:31 rue_shop4 the others just have a resistor
22:31 Tom_itx there's a ground lug welded to it
22:31 rue_shop4 yea, ground, not power -
22:31 Tom_itx that's where the neutral/gnd wire from the power comes in
22:31 Tom_itx the other 2 go to the transformers
22:32 Tom_itx even so, i still get 0 ohms across them
22:32 rue_shop4 I dont know how a neutral fualt made it into the signal line
22:32 Tom_itx the dc gnd and the frame
22:32 Tom_itx i don't think it did honestly
22:32 Tom_itx i think i fucked up
22:32 useless in laptop supplies i have opened (40 or so ) there's a transzorb tween the supposedly floating low voltage side and the 120vac,, it's anyone's guess which side of the 120vac
22:32 Tom_itx with the 24v
22:32 rue_shop4 there are two movs, or something that go from hot and neutral to the frame ground in the computer
22:33 rue_shop4 kat, yea
22:33 Tom_itx i'm just gonna leave it like it is i think
22:33 rue_shop4 kat, if neutral is lost, I suppose the tranzorb conducts from hot to ground
22:33 Tom_itx i don't know what else to do
22:33 Tom_itx but i'm checking all the wiring as i go this time
22:34 Tom_itx again
22:34 useless from hot to laptop low voltage
22:34 rue_shop4 which then finds its way thu the logic ground to another peice of equipment with another tranzorb from that signal ground to neutral
22:35 rue_shop4 but that kinda confuses me why it wouldn't just run thru the shields, it specifically found its way into the signal circuit for me in both cases
22:35 Tom_itx anyway, the boards are isolated on the din rail now and their supplies come directly from a 5v buss
22:35 Tom_itx the 24v is far away from them
22:35 rue_shop4 once cooking the video chips and the last time frying the io chip
22:36 Tom_itx now,
22:36 rue_shop4 Tom_itx, tell me when that package arrived!
22:36 rue_shop4 es
22:36 Tom_itx where should i tie the wire shield shields to?
22:36 Tom_itx the frame?
22:36 Tom_itx or dc gnd
22:36 useless we answerd that yesterday
22:36 rue_shop4 frame on one end
22:36 Tom_itx i will rue
22:36 Tom_itx ok i was planning to do that
22:36 Tom_itx screw to the frame
22:36 rue_shop4 because they aren't part of the circuit
22:36 Tom_itx what are the damages?
22:37 Tom_itx i'll pp you
22:37 rue_shop4 there may be some 120hz noise tho I uppose
22:37 Tom_itx i'll cross that when it happens
22:37 rue_shop4 Tom_itx, hmm, I was supposed to keep track of that recipt
22:37 rue_shop4 I'll look around for it later
22:38 Tom_itx ok now i'm gonna plug in the daughter card i fixed and see if it smokes
22:38 Tom_itx by itself of course..
22:38 Tom_itx with a current meter on it
22:38 rue_shop4 if you bench test everyone at 5V, its hard to hurt anything
22:38 eless strongly suggests isolation transformer or psu for the puter equip
22:39 useless 31 yrs ago i had no end of glitchy issues witht he 120vac, put in a Sola and that fixed everything
22:41 rue_shop4 did it keep or ditch the ground?
22:42 rue_shop4 the reason my blowup happened was because of a cord for the isaoltion trnasformer that I'd cut the ground off of
22:43 rue_shop4 well, I'm giving up,
22:43 useless gnds are a good thing, but if the 120vac is floating you can touch either side of the 120vac to your tongue and nothing intersting happens
22:43 rue_shop4 I'm gonna end up with a ratsnest of jumpers between the grey counters I already made and the driver board I ahve
22:44 rue_shop4 *on properly made equipment
22:44 eless
22:44 rue_shop4 the ground of my scope goes to case ground
22:44 rue_shop4 probles
22:44 rue_shop4 probes
22:45 rue_shop4 which I learned when i once went to scope part of a computer power supply and blew it up with my scope ground
22:45 rue_shop4 I was always sure the scope had a wiggle in the trace after that
22:46 useless you can use differential probes, it's why i got the 100:1 probes too, added protection, they are good to 1200v
22:46 Tom_itx yay! i think that board is good
22:46 Tom_itx all the leds light up
22:46 Tom_itx it draws the same current as the new one
22:47 eless stops worrying
22:49 Tom_itx i think i'll save the new one as a spare
22:49 Tom_itx the other one would have been ok but it blew the fpga
22:49 Tom_itx http://tom-itx.no-ip.biz:81/~webpage/rue/7I43.jpg
22:50 Tom_itx i replaced U6 U9 & U10 on it and U6(1.2v supply) was only .6v and the fpga got warm rather rapidly
22:51 rue_shop4 yea
22:51 Tom_itx the 5v showed 5v and the 3.3v showed 3.3v
22:51 Tom_itx i was pleased i could replace those
22:51 rue_shop4 its a good idea to change the voltage regulators first and see if the powe works
22:51 Tom_itx U6 U10 especially
22:51 rue_shop4 so
22:51 Tom_itx leadless chips
22:51 rue_shop4 ugh
22:51 Tom_itx he sent them to me
22:52 Tom_itx i'll just use it for parts
22:52 Tom_itx if i ever need any
22:52 rue_shop4 oh, you didn't change the fpga?
22:52 Tom_itx no
22:52 rue_shop4 ah
22:52 Tom_itx i got a different board anyway
22:53 rue_shop4 yup
22:53 Tom_itx that one has 48 io and the new one has 72
22:53 rue_shop4 I'm playing with grbl and my cnc now
22:53 Tom_itx and it was cheaper
22:53 rue_shop4 I have an uno for it
22:53 Tom_itx cool
22:53 rue_shop4 but my stepper drivers are dumb
22:53 Tom_itx i looked at grbl once
22:53 rue_shop4 so i need to turn the step/dir into the 4 phases
22:53 rue_shop4 hence the grey counter
22:53 Tom_itx looks like the config shipped on this board is for servos
22:54 rue_shop4 this will be an ugly mess of wires
22:54 Tom_itx it's got pwm and direction pins instead of step direction
22:54 Tom_itx i'll double check my .vhd file and make sure i have the right one
22:54 Tom_itx i had one ready to go for it
22:55 Tom_itx the new board stores the bit file on it instead of loading it on startup
22:55 Tom_itx it's got eeprom to store a user config and a default backup
22:55 Tom_itx so it always has 2 configs on it
23:00 eless looks at a 18ns programmable circuit bre
23:01 useless i used 50Mhz opamps and 74F74 latch to trigger my circuit breaker
23:02 rue_shop4 kat, did I tell you about how the pwm impulses trip the overloads for the hexapod?
23:03 rue_shop4 suppose I should have put some filtering in there
23:03 useless no
23:03 rue_shop4 the pwm impulses are over the trip current
23:04 rue_shop4 all I want is the average
23:16 Tom_itx hrm. i was gonna talk to kat but she left
23:17 useless :-(..
23:18 rue_shop4 again?
23:18 rue_shop4 I ws talking to her a few days or so ago and noticed she'd left
23:18 useless ok, then i'll leave
23:19 rue_shop4 wait, what?
23:20 Tom_itx was trying to get her to change her nick back
23:21 rue_shop4 oops
23:22 rue_shop4 I suppose she is blue again
23:22 rue_shop4 the cat is hunting wires in the shop
23:23 atom1 ok, gonna look over these config files a bit
23:24 rue_shop4 dotn point those crazy thnigs at me
23:24 atom1 ?
23:25 atom1 how can you view the zip contents without opening it in linux?
23:34 rue_shop4 options on unzip
23:35 rue_shop4 unzip -l
23:36 rue_shop4 I dont think that will cause it to unpack it, the man page isn't clear
23:37 Tom_itx i got it
23:37 Tom_itx i just wanted to try and find the .vhd file for the standard (shipped) config
23:37 Tom_itx i'll ask him when he's around
23:38 Tom_itx i took the one i was using for the 48 io card and moved it to the 72 io card and i think it'll work fine
23:38 Tom_itx had to use a different file with the more io but i made the custom changed i did in the original one
23:41 Tom_itx the nice thing about this card over the old one besides more io is that the host can be a parport, SPI, SSERIAL or RS422 input
23:41 Tom_itx one guy is using this card with SPI on a bbb board running linuxcnc
23:51 rue_shop4 oh man
23:51 rue_shop4 I have to be carefull here
23:52 rue_shop4 this machine has so many things on the fix list, if I'm not carefull I'll end up with a huge mess
23:53 Tom_itx working on the cnc again?
