00:44 dumbass-afk Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 4.bp.blogspot.com.
00:48 rue_house huh
00:49 rue_house I was gonna replace my genious ps2 mouse with a new dell mouse, but it turns out the new mouse dosn't have near the resolution the old one did
00:49 rue_house I shelled and washed the old one, hope its good for another 14 years...
00:50 dumbass-afk i find when stuff wears out, i cannot buy as good as i had, so i sometimes get more than one
00:51 dumbass-afk large Box-o-Keybds : $20
00:51 rue_house ahh I see the right click problem the nub that pushes the switch wore down
00:52 dumbass-afk couple drops of epoxy and it will be good for another 5 yrs by morning, or you can melt in a short loop of wire where the nub was
00:53 rue_house I used a screwdriver to push some of the adjacent plastic into the groove, it'll do for now
00:53 rue_house I'll fix more later
00:54 rue_house I might have another mouse around with some better switches
00:55 rue_house they didn't leave the leaf on the microswitches, it would have saved it
00:55 rue_house the image was a yarn spinning wheel made from bike parts and wood
00:55 dumbass-afk replace them with optics, the light beam will never wear out
00:55 rue_house it was sorta cute-retro-modern
00:56 rue_house but then I dont get a satisfying click
00:56 rue_house that click I miss from my keyboards
00:56 dumbass-afk fwiw, a 2ft length of pvc pipe makes a nice 2psi regulator
00:56 rue_house tho this dell one I'm trying out is ok
00:57 rue_house what kinda things does a person use a 2psi regulator for?
00:57 dumbass-afk ah, put in a t13 with a sound file, whenever the keybd chip signals it has a key down, play a click file
00:58 dumbass-afk for inflating the air donut ring around the tops of pools, or disturbing cats and birds, adjusting mattresses or pillows
00:58 dumbass-afk feeding fuel up to the top of the engine, operating a baloon to block a air duct
00:58 dumbass-afk if you note, 2ft = 2psi, more length = more psi
00:59 dumbass-afk oops,, 4ft = 2psi
01:00 dumbass-afk you need two lengths, one with a T at the top, air in, air out,,,, insert into vertical pipe full of water, excess air pressure will bubble out the bottom of inner tube
01:03 dumbass-afk it's so simple, and can be extremely accurate
01:07 dumbass-afk use it to calibrate other guages and regulators
01:14 dumbass-afk 2psi under a 4x8 sheet of plywood is 4,600 lbs of lift
03:16 dumbass-afk .
03:17 dumbass-afk going to start icing here any minute
