00:33 katsmeow-afk well, teh problem is this : to put 20amps into the batteries, i need 20amps while the sine wave is above the battery voltage, and i need an equal amount into the capacitors to deliver 20amps when the sine is below the battery voltage

00:39 katsmeow-afk going by http://designerthinking.com/images/2phase/2ph_dc_plot.JPG and ignoring the phase2 line, if i lower thwe capacitor voltage to 120v it will still always be above the battery voltage, and i'll have 50-50 charge discharge on them instead of if i used them up at the sine peaks where i'd have 3ms to charge and 14ms discharge, and it wold be easier on the genny
