00:04 katsmeow-afk a large bitmap array of robot gaits?
00:05 katsmeow-afk i discovered a cheap way to make a 2Ghz programable bit sequence serial stream, but i don't havve a way to make a 4Ghz clock for it
00:18 katsmeow-afk does anyone speak english anymore?
00:37 katsmeow-afk so the main bearing caps ususally bolt over the crank to the block, but what if i bolted two caps together, and then to a "block" i make to hold the cross slides and cylinders?
01:04 katsmeow-afk [(O)]
01:16 Lola8088 Everyone asleep?
01:50 rue_house not yet
01:58 rue_bed hum
01:59 rue_bed kat, re the steam engine, I'm wondering if one can be made by parts you can difinitly find anywhere
02:43 katsmeow-afk smaller ones: mawn lower engines
02:44 katsmeow-afk youtubes on making them
02:44 katsmeow-afk or, bolt your own piston rod to the existing piston and use the old piston as the cross slide
02:45 katsmeow-afk bolt your new steam cylinder where the old cylinder head bolted on
03:11 katsmeow-afk ====
03:12 katsmeow-afk what i keep coming back to is this: 100% of all the energy delivered by the car engine pistons is not contained by the engine block, it's all push-down against the main bearing caps
03:13 katsmeow-afk so on a V6 engine, all the pistong push down, and the crank pushing the piston back up to compress the air, is held by the 14 bolts holding 7 bearing caps to the underside of the block
03:16 katsmeow-afk if that is true, and it is, then if i have the bolt-hole area of 7 of the caps milled to percise thickness, and those set on the frame of the steam engine, the crank will be held as precisely as if it were in the block, and be just as strong, if not stronger
03:21 katsmeow-afk i just need to be lucky enough that the caps will properly hold the crank when two are set against each other like clam shells [(O)]
03:22 katsmeow-afk working out how to "fire" the steam cylinders, especially when they will likely be at different angles than the original car engine, will be tricky
03:22 katsmeow-afk i'll likely run it as a wonky V4 , using the two front V cylinder arrangement, and the rear two
03:23 katsmeow-afk else, running one center, and one at each end as an inline 3
03:24 katsmeow-afk you haveto figure, if each cylinder is running push and pull, i need only 3 to get more torque than the original 6 provided
03:25 katsmeow-afk altho the hp may be the same, because of lower rpm
15:14 Lola8088 Gary Fung just Rick Rolled me.
15:20 Lola8088 I'm sad. :(
16:26 Tom_itx i'm tired
17:31 tsmeow-afk is tired
17:31 katsmeow-afk orange-orange-black = 330 = 33 ohms, yeas?
17:38 katsmeow-afk if 330 = 33 ohms, what's 3.3 ohms? 3R30 ?
17:38 katsmeow-afk then why isn't 33 ohmw, = 33R0 ?
18:26 Tom_itx http://www.diyaudioandvideo.com/Electronics/Color/
18:27 Tom_itx 3R3 33R 330R 3K3 33K 330K
18:28 Tom_itx 3R0 30R 300R 3K0 30K 300K
18:59 katsmeow-afk someone is being serious, just paid $55 for 32bit version of the 74245 in a BGA package,, i wonder if they knew what they were getting into with BGA
19:32 katsmeow-afk looks like the seller of the qty 12 32kx8 eproms isn't around to accept payment of the 1 cent winning bid
20:50 rue_house Lola8088, hu?
22:33 katsmeow-afk .
23:06 rue_house I hear isohunt was taken out
23:06 rue_house now you just cant get any of those movies that the stores just cant get in for you to buy
23:06 rue_house :)
23:12 Lola8088 Soooo Sad. :(
23:19 Lola8088 ummm... rue?
23:19 Lola8088 you know what 'hu' means right?
