00:31 useless btw, i figured out how to replace a weak battery in the series string of 10 12v batteries, without touching anything live, while it's all charging and/or supplying power
00:32 useless i thought not gettng shocked would be agood idea
00:50 useless maybe i am wrong
02:27 rue_house I like to hear of the things you think on kat
02:28 rue_house I'v had the chance to implement a few of them, always come out well
15:10 useless how do i put a normal 120vac outlet in a space 1.20 inches narrow?
15:16 useless 2 x 8.75 drawers for batteries, 1 x 5.25 for 10x charger/tester and displays, in a 24 tall rack, leaves me only 1.25 inches for the 120dc-to-120ac convertor, and 1.25 isn't even legal spacing :-/
15:17 useless 26.25 tall is legal, gives me 3.5" to put an outlet into
15:17 useless a 26.25 inch tall anything is an odd size
15:20 useless but, 26.25 plus a top and bottom for 5/8 plywood gives me 27" , which i can then use to hold up tables
19:20 rue_house kat, its called a 'shoebox' its narrower than a standard box
19:20 rue_house 1.2 sounds excessivly narrow tho
19:21 rue_house I dont think I answered your question right
19:21 rue_house if you care, say so now
19:21 rue_house ok, good
19:22 rue_house cause I dont know if I was wrong
19:25 Tom_itx narrower or flatter?
19:25 Tom_itx i had to use some flat ones when i roughed in my basement since i layed the 2 x 4's flat
19:32 useless neither of you understood
19:33 useless [15:03] <useless> 2 x 8.75 drawers for batteries, 1 x 5.25 for 10x charger/tester and displays, in a 24 tall RACK, leaves me only 1.25 inches for the 120dc-to-120ac convertor, and 1.25 isn't even legal spacing :-/
19:33 useless as in rackmount boxes
19:34 useless https://www.google.com/search?q=rackmount&hl=en&tbo=d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&biw=1005&bih=461&sei=FK_0UID4E4Ha8ATm7YH4DQ

20:10 rue_house maye thats a motor
20:10 rue_house comuter connectors, whatever those are
20:13 Tom_itx maybe i'll make a face to mount the lcd in for something to do
20:14 rue_house make it out of plexiglass and give it capacitive touch buttons
20:14 Tom_itx oh i know.. i was gonna play with a bot
20:14 Tom_itx see if i can get 'tell' to work
20:15 Tom_itx i forgot what i knew about it though
20:32 rue_house tell?
20:37 Tom_itx like a notepad for messages
20:48 useless the computer connector is for feeding power in, not out
20:48 useless new pics : http://designerthinking.com/water.html#new
21:07 useless anyhoo, a normal 1.75 rackmount box will fit a normal 120vac wall outlet just fine, i just haveto make the rack taller by 1/2 inch
21:11 useless 1.75 - 1.3 wide outlet - .040 one top and one bottom box plate thickness = 0.020 clearance on both sides of the outlet
21:11 useless see? plenty of room!
21:12 useless i should make a 3.5 inch tall box :-/
21:13 useless you know these boxes i make are at least $60 each on ebay?
