03:13 rue_house :)
03:13 rue_house TELunus, using the new machine?
03:15 TELunus Ya.
03:15 TELunus Well, this is on the old one, but I have another keyboard on my lap for the other one.
03:15 rue_house hows it perform?
03:16 rue_house dude! its 1am!
03:16 rue_house written any code for mips processors?
03:17 TELunus Ya, it is. Sleep country canada just had an add on the radio thinking If I was still awake I must need a new bed, actually it's just that I have two OSs to play with AT THE SAME TIME!
03:17 TELunus mips?
03:17 rue_house procesxors
03:18 TELunus mips is low instruction count right?
03:19 rue_house mips is risc yes
03:23 TELunus Upon looking things up it appears the only assembly language I've used is even more risc than mips is. Then we switched back to C.
04:33 rue_bed TELunus, have you ever compiled a simple C or c++ program to assebler?
04:34 TELunus Not by hand.
04:35 TELunus Never really inspected a compiled to assembly result either, though I feel like I did need to do that at some point in my digital electronics course.
04:44 rue_bed its a good thing to see
04:44 rue_bed if you know how things compile you can know how to change the way you code to make programs run better
04:45 rue_bed you can see why C compiles so well
