05:12 AM JT-Chicken: morning
07:24 AM JT-Cave: time to ride
08:56 AM Tom_L: JT-Cave, is there a section in the help for the search yet?
08:56 AM Tom_L: i was looking under the gcode widget
09:09 AM Tom_L: bug:
09:10 AM Tom_L: when i have led colors on estop, power, probe enable and probe enable is active, pressing estop should change the color of probe enable to red but it doesn't
09:11 AM Tom_L: there could be other buttons affected by this...
09:11 AM Tom_L: ones that go inactive on estop
09:14 AM Tom_L: in the help html "Probing" under the on_text off_text dynamic properties you might include the led properties there
09:16 AM Tom_L: it _is_ under LED Buttons but might be nice to have it both places for those led buttons
09:25 AM Tom_L: also, how do i enable the flex editor over pluma which is chosen in the ini
09:28 AM Tom_L: i didn't find [DISPLAY] 'EDITOR' mentioned in the ini docs section
09:36 AM Tom_L: (back in testing mode today :)
09:37 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> good morning.
09:37 AM Tom_L: hi

09:47 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> why different
09:48 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> thought he said yesterday he'd make a new one....
09:48 AM Tom_L: i'm not sure he's done that yet
09:48 AM Tom_L: i'm building right now
09:49 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> ok

11:28 AM Tom_L: did you add a save as well as the save as button?
11:29 AM Tom_L: yeah i see
11:31 AM JT-Cave: https://gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/misc.html#code-viewer-controls
11:31 AM JT-Cave: now it's really nap time
11:32 AM Tom_L: heh
11:32 AM Tom_L: i left you a bug above here too
11:36 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> JT-Cave: hey, is there any way to display the tool file? not necessarily edit it, just display
11:37 AM Tom_L: yes
11:37 AM Tom_L: it's a menu item
11:38 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> I know there is an edit in the menu items, just might like a display on a tab page, kinda like the program code
11:38 AM Tom_L: well it opens up the regular tool table to edit or view
11:40 AM Tom_L: none that i'm aware of beyond that
11:41 AM Tom_L: the tool change combo box lets you display a description iirc
11:41 AM Tom_L: when you go to select a tool
11:41 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> got that already
11:42 AM Tom_L: https://www.gnipsel.com/linuxcnc/flexgui/tools.html
11:42 AM Tom_L: that's it afik
11:45 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> Tom_L: have you checked all your probe routines? actual physically
11:47 AM Tom_L: yes
11:47 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> cool. do they all work OK ??
11:47 AM Tom_L: they wouldn't be there unless i did, that would be irresponsible
11:47 AM Tom_L: for me yes
11:48 AM Tom_L: check them with caution for yourself
11:48 AM Tom_L: i feel pretty confident but am human
11:49 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> ok.
11:49 AM Tom_L: i'm updating that ui a bit today
11:49 AM Tom_L: the tp3 example
11:49 AM Tom_L: nothing major
11:49 AM Tom_L: adding the file edit stuff to the gcode widget
11:49 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> like I mentioned..... i'm working on mine again.....
11:52 AM Tom_L: all the op routines have been tested on hardware as well
11:55 AM lcnc-relay: <roguish> ok, forecast upper 80's today. gotta get my ride in before it cooks. bbl\

05:00 PM Tom_L: the search is looking great
05:00 PM JT-Shop: thanks
05:00 PM Tom_L: i went ahead and put that in tp3 example
05:00 PM JT-Shop: no lift yet... can take up to 5 days for abf to pick up
05:00 PM JT-Shop: cool
05:00 PM Tom_L: added a couple buttons
05:00 PM Tom_L: 'save' and 'search'
05:00 PM JT-Shop: working on search and replace and replace all
05:01 PM Tom_L: had a 'save as' already
05:01 PM JT-Shop: once I realized that you could edit the nc code file in the viewer then save made sense
05:02 PM Tom_L: absolutely
05:02 PM Tom_L: just icing on the cake
05:02 PM JT-Shop: yup
05:02 PM JT-Shop: we are so much better than all the rest...
05:02 PM Tom_L: and it works
05:02 PM JT-Shop: and it's thanks to you for testing a lot
05:03 PM Tom_L: or will by tomorrow :)
05:03 PM JT-Shop: and flex does not require master :)
05:03 PM Tom_L: getting past a few distractions here but will keep testing
