03:34 AM exp: qu1j0t3: good to hear, now to find out if the real circuit behaves as your sim does :)
05:10 AM specing_ is now known as specing
05:37 AM Thrashbarg: qu1j0t3: probably because the LM2904 is an unstable and out of date op-amp
08:06 AM qu1j0t3: Thrashbarg: nothing wrong with it :)
08:06 AM Thrashbarg: maybe :P
08:06 AM qu1j0t3: Thrashbarg: it's a circuit. it doesn't go `out of date'
08:06 AM Thrashbarg: heh
08:06 AM qu1j0t3: there is some shit with the model, LTSpice absolutely hates it
08:06 AM Thrashbarg: I mean there are better options now lol
08:07 AM qu1j0t3: it's the TI model they distribute now
08:07 AM Thrashbarg: ah
08:08 AM qu1j0t3: in this case i switched to another 'out of date' op amp lol ... to the OPA705 (which has been superseded by the OPA990, sure, but that's SMT only). The reason i had to switch is I needed the output to go much closer to Vcc than the LM2904 can
08:09 AM Thrashbarg: ok
08:09 AM qu1j0t3: and I specifically want a low bandwidth amp for this use case
05:10 PM specing_ is now known as specing
06:09 PM JanC_ is now known as JanC
