07:20 AM exp: bah i updated the firmware on my DSO, and now its I2C decoding is worthless, dunno if related but thanks rigol, how wonderful
07:20 AM exp: my rise time is strictly a little bit under 1µs but I doubt it's that, and I can't be bothered to swap pull-ups :)

07:23 AM LeoNerd: scopes usually give you hex numbers.. sigrok, you tell it the chip you have and it'll decode register names, register values, all sorts
07:23 AM exp: i like sigrok but pulseview doesn't support the fancy LA i have, which is slightly irritating

07:29 AM polprog_: i have to try that, i remember my rigol would write full memory in csv for about 10 mins

07:29 AM polprog_: I wonder if I can use my HP scope with sigrok, it has no decoding capabilities, but 16 digital channels

07:30 AM exp: i want to spend a lot of money on a fancy scope, but i'm terrified they'll all run windows and be even less accessible than this

07:30 AM polprog_: it's a black box anyway, if it speaks scpi or something then it should be fine
07:31 AM exp: i've not tried the rigol over the network yet, but it was a fair nightmare trying to get USB out in an intelligble format
