01:33 AM rue_mohr: I have a 20us window to do an analog reading
01:40 AM rue_mohr: apparently the tiny13 can do a conversion in down to 13us
01:40 AM rue_mohr: hmmmmm......
01:40 AM rue_mohr: oh wait, its got a sample and hold in there
02:16 AM fstd: so no division for you!
02:18 AM rue_mohr: well,
02:18 AM rue_mohr: a t13 might be too tight
02:18 AM rue_mohr: I'd already be using lots of interrupts, and I need serial data out of it
02:18 AM fstd: isn't that the one that doesn't even have SRAM?
02:18 AM rue_mohr: its got lots
02:19 AM rue_mohr: is shy on hardware subsystems
02:19 AM rue_mohr: for example there are only 6 adc channels
02:19 AM rue_mohr: ;)
02:19 AM fstd: hm, 64B, ok
02:20 AM fstd: maybe i've dreamed it
02:21 AM rue_mohr: I mean, if its synchronous not-on-request data, I COULD just shove it out from main()
02:21 AM rue_mohr: let the reciever deal with the timing
02:22 AM rue_mohr: altho
02:22 AM rue_mohr: a t13 is a perfect fit it I do that
02:23 AM rue_mohr: then the project is just 2x 8 pin chips
02:23 AM * fstd is driving a couple leds with a mega32 >.>
02:23 AM rue_mohr: tho the t13 are pricy
02:23 AM rue_mohr: it would be better to have something all analog and push a bunch to a tiny26
02:25 AM nohit: fstd: any progress ?
02:27 AM nohit: dont use C at all is one solution
02:31 AM fstd: nohit: yeah i've indeed decided to write the entire thing in assembly
02:32 AM fstd: feels good to have a ton of registers
02:35 AM nohit: fstd: nice
03:03 AM * fstd wonders whether he should get a digital scope
03:03 AM fstd: would be a shame to retire this absolute tank of a scope i currently use
03:04 AM rue_bed: its nice to be able to take a picture
03:04 AM rue_bed: tho, the aliasing is annoying
03:05 AM rue_bed: I got mine to do low speed PID tuning
03:05 AM rue_bed: like for mechanical systems that cant do more than 0.2hz
03:05 AM rue_bed: but wow, its awesome
03:08 AM fstd: i kind of admire how much stuff people managed to make analog scopes do
03:08 AM fstd: i can trigger on a signal, then start a delayed sweep on the other channel, with a different time base
03:08 AM fstd: so essentially zooming in on a portion of the signal
03:09 AM fstd: black fucking magic

06:26 PM fstd: quit throwing off the balance
