01:39 AM Thrashbarg_ is now known as Thrashbarg
05:22 AM polprog: cehteh: rue_mohr: isnt that oscillator just an astable multivibrator?
06:11 AM Smidge204: Aren't most non-crystal oscillators?
06:49 AM cehteh: polprog: yes, i only played about getting sharp edges for optimal switching
06:50 AM twnqx: sharp edges are bad for your EMI :P
06:52 AM cehteh: can be fixed with buffering caps, keeping traces short and grounding/shielding
06:54 AM cehteh: also i played later to make the currents lower
07:13 AM polprog: Smidge204: hmm.. colpitts is one that isnt
07:13 AM polprog: none other that i know of :P
07:19 AM cehteh: that prduces a sine
07:19 AM cehteh: more or less
07:44 AM polprog: yeah
12:48 PM rue_bed: most sine wave oscillators produce horrible sine waves
12:48 PM rue_bed: and if they produce good ones, they drift
12:49 PM rue_bed: my filter profiler uses an 8 bit dac, it actually produces a variable sinewave of better quality than most of the oscillators
12:50 PM rue_bed: and its completely stable and works across all frequenceies
12:50 PM rue_bed: lskjflskjf
11:56 PM day_ is now known as day
