04:45 PM Bluecoat: are there any non-Atmel devices that can do DebugWire? Preferably one I can make out of a ATTiny or arduino kit?
04:50 PM polprog: im sure there are
04:52 PM Bluecoat: My Dragon gave up the ghost. I've got an ICE on the way, but that doesn't get my debug work done today. :)
04:55 PM polprog: :(https://sites.google.com/site/wayneholder/debugwire
04:55 PM polprog: dW is just simple serial
04:55 PM polprog: what did you do to the dragon :v im asking cause i have one as well,
04:59 PM Bluecoat: polprog: there's a design flaw on them where if the vUSB rail droops, it kills one of the voltage regulators. I bypassed that and brought it back to life for awhile. Now it shows up on the USB bus but AVRDude / AVR Studio both say it's not responding.
05:03 PM polprog: hmm
05:03 PM polprog: i thought i killed mine when i was soldering headers, a splash of tin shorted the hvsp supply
05:04 PM polprog: i found that out after i bypassed the 5v vreg
05:04 PM polprog: it was some czech site that explained that bypass
05:04 PM Bluecoat: yeah, I think that's where I learned to do it to mine.
05:05 PM polprog: it might be possible to revive it tho
05:05 PM Bluecoat: Maybe I fried it last time I used it (~12+ months ago) and forgot.
