[23:42:56] <theBear> at old work (entertainment industry including lighting kinda place) there were some big "flame lights" (well couple little ones too i spose) which had something like a pc bldc fan with a cylinder of really light silky kinda material above it with a not-square-cut often kinda frayed "top" end, and some little kinda flamey colour lights mm, i think inside it above the fan, and they looked surprisingly pleasant and even somewhat flame-like from any kinda
